What are you reading?
@Llaph, I am impressed that you kept reading the Argeneau series one after the other....than again I don't suffer from insomnia. Personally I found that the last two were less in quality.
@ Val:I adjusted my rating on Under a Vampire Moon, it seriously seemed like there should have been another chapter or atleast an epilogue.
Not always a good idea to rate a book right after you have read it, most of the time I let it settle for a bit first. I ended up altering some more ratings today, sheesh.
I might do the same when I re-read The Lady is a Vamp ... I remember thinking that the whole sort of thing was stupid ... k you get 1 turn you use it ... thhen run ... hi there is atleast 2 more turns available ... think people think!
That is the problem sometimes with her books, they are silly and then some situations are total wtfs and you wonder about the characters brain capacity.
A year for the next book? ughhhhh :)Still reading
. Rereading
. Will start reading, as soooooooon as it gets here,
Man these books are short....The Lady is a Vamp (Argeneau, #17) by Lynsay Sands
Totally changed my rating after reading it again, I wonder what drugs I was on when I first read it?
(view spoiler)
The next book better be better or I will be angry and want to make loud noises or something ... I like Anders and was looking forward to a book for him.
Just started today "Hush a slave princess' tale" by Donna Jo Napoli

Me too!!!!!
I'm thinking about just reading it on kindle and getting the book later.
I read it! OMG. I wrote my review but I can't wait to vent about something. lolStill reading
and rereading
I started The Lies of Locke Lamora but my reading is all over the place as the 6 books in my currently reading pile can attest. So I am keeping my fingers crossed if I can finish it. Also OMG!!! Jaipur Lit Fest started and one of the authors gifted me a signed copy of his book Lazarus is Dead coz they were not available at the fest bookstore yet. He had one copy and we had chatted for a while. It was SO COOL!!!!
Arushi, I have the The Lies of Locke Lamora on my TBR pile for quite a while....is it any good or are you just too busy to commit to it?
Oooh!!I LOVED Lamora!
I'm hoping to get the 3rd installment this year...
Okay - so I might have a soft spot for amoral protagonists! ;D
Look forward to hearing what you think of it!!
**warning**
There is a TON of profanity used.... so if you don't appreciate bad language - you may not want to read it. But its part of the story.
Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ wrote: "Arushi, I have the The Lies of Locke Lamora on my TBR pile for quite a while....is it any good or are you just too busy to commit to it?"I'm 28 pages in and I really like it. If I pause it'll be because of my issues but me thinks that this book might get me out of my funk :)
@Jax - Thanks for the warning.
Ember (Darkest London, #0.5) by Kristen Callihanand
Firelight (Darkest London, #1) by Kristen Callihan
I had thought about reading a book of a series that I had been reading for almost as long as he WoT ... then read some rviews ... over 9K and avg is 2 something. I am glad I am not the only crazy one who thought it was painful to read, lucky me as I gave up on it. So sad ... I hate when an author totally f'ups a series that bad.
Rather glad I found this series to read though.
Sarah ♥ Vutch forever ♥ wrote: "I'm reading Buying Trouble."I really liked that book, I read it last week.
Done with
. It may not be Kate Daniels brand of awesome but it sure was the best book of the Edge series.
Oblivion(The Power of Five book 5) by Anthony Horowitz in the mood for something very different other the normal read
Moonglow (Darkest London, #2) by Kristen Callihan I reallyreally like this series even though there are only 2 full books so far ... next month is the 3rd book and for now I am excited about it. That is till something else distracts me....
@Mello:
Hope you say what you think about Poison Princess, I just couldn't get into it and I have read pretty much everything of hers, even the historicals. Wondering if it is worth making myself read past the first few pages again.
I'll let you know what I think, Llaph. I have all of the Immortals After Dark books and haven't read them, yet. One of these days, I'll finally get to those...

Want!
Waiting for
at the library (2 people ahead of me), and in the meantime I am reading
. I was hesitant about starting another laurell k hamilton series because of what the anita blake series turned into. Reviews indicate the merry gentry series follows a similar path, but I am hoping the first merry books are good...just like the first anita books were good.
