I'm about halfway through now - and still enjoying it.

Then you'd also be up-to-date with the Kara Gillian series and can dive into something new = Dresden Files.

I just finished my 1st book this month, titled
Sacrificeby S.J. Bolton . My next book is
Night Play (Were-Hunter #3)by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna PriceIntresting, don't really get the sight switching thing after her grave sight.... I get why sort of, just she doesn't seem to be too disoriented from it, maybe she is just used to it. It would bother me more, but that is me and losing your sight ain't fun.
Thnx for talking about it, I needed something new to read.
@Llaph - I wonder what your take would be on the whole Death and Falin thing. About the sight - I think its mentioned that in a way the worlds superimpose one another so she can still sort of see. She is kind of used to it, plus she starts seeing shadows almost immediately. She is never completely blind, but if you say it does not seem real, i'll believe you.
@Claire Definitely no Team Rhyzkahl.I really do need to find time to read Grave Memory.
Starting
Some friends in another group have been going nuts over this series and we're doing a group read with the author, so I'm gonna try it out.
@ Arushi:(view spoiler)
I can sort of understand the sight thing, but the reason it makes me uncomfortable sometimes is that it is too real. I can picture it and have known people with blindness like that ... it is scary to lose your sight and get it back, they always said they were afraid it will not come back again.
It is a new thing for an author to use to add some depth to a character, a way to show that their power is not the uber powerful thing 100% of the time. If you are going to use it though you should really add more of the things that a blind person would have to deal with. Then again I tend to pick at stuff….
Grave Dance (Alex Craft, #2) by Kalayna Price
The third book will have to wait, my library does not have it and I don't think I should test out my new phone apps for the first time with an iffy maybe.

What did he do??? I quit the series.. but how do I stay away with people discussing it right, left and center? Now I am dying of curiosity.
*gives Mello puppy dog eyes*
Please tell me what happens in the book regarding the demon Lords?? please!!

Thanks Mello! Okay one more quick question.

Llaph wrote: "@ Arushi:I liked the two books I was able to read. (Loved your reviews BTW)"
Thanks :) I only reviewed the last one... so I don't think I was much use to you yet. (view spoiler)
I see what you mean about the sight thing. It would be super scary if it hit too close to the truth. (view spoiler) It is different to have a character who is not a 100% powerful but yes, it would make more sense if she made it more real by adding tiny details. We may not know them, but once they are there, they do give a lot of depth to the world. I still want Alex to kick more ass. really!

It depends on what you mean (view spoiler)
@ Arushi:Hey … marking a book to read counts as a review … I think I added an s, weird habit I have, I also sometimes switch if for in and mix is up in there too.
(view spoiler)
I remember that scene from that series. It is not really adding more details it is more of a get what you have right. I put the series on my list where I try to keep tabs on series to watch out for the next book when my library gets it.
I decided to try this series again. It was a good idea for me to do with the Dresden Files so I thought why not?Tempest Rising (Jane True, #1) by Nicole Peeler
I like the names she chose for some of her characters. (They totally hit my nerd reflex) I heard Ryu's name and had to go back to hear the spelling, then thought "Haduoken" roll from back, down, to front + a punch button.... Anayan was a name a good friend of mine used for a character name in a game we played together.
Gin wrote: "I'm loving

Zeenat wrote: "It depends on what you mean..."I see. Thanks Zeenat. I was not clear on that part :)
Hummm reading all this, I might actually start the series again. (view spoiler)
Claire wrote: "I wanted to buy
, but the bookstore didn't have it!"That has gotta be annoying. Maybe get an e-book?
I think its a Penguin book.. I am sure you can buy the paperback and get it delivered from their website too. They might also have a discount there.
I just am curious to see what you think of it.
Forgot: US has amazon. Sigh. You can always use them too :)
Well, I had a Barnes and Noble gift card, but not a Nook. And reading things on my computer for too long gives me a migraine. *sigh*. Struggles.
I hope you're able to get your hands on it, Claire. I really do love that series and am so glad that more people have been reading it lately.Finished
and I'm not entirely sure on how I feel about it.Starting
Claire, The Dresden File short stories are pretty good too. I think the "important ones" are all in the compendium "side jobs". OOOOH I'm so excited about your reading, so I'm gonna start rereading
I just finished my 2nd book this month, titled
Night Play (Were-Hunter #3)by Sherrilyn Kenyon . My next book is
Seize the Night (Dark-Hunter #7)by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Tempest's Legacy (Jane True, #3) by Nicole PeelerThey read so fast....
I read the first book a while back and something either distracted me or made me irritated so I did not read the next book. I had even deleted the folder off of my computer ... I never do stuff like that. I have all of my books saved to a pin drive plus back-ups on my harddrive. I keep records of almost everything so it will be a mystery to me I guess!
(view spoiler)
They aren't the greatest of all books that I have read, but I definatly like them.
Anyan is the closest thing to "a book boyfriend that is almost real" ROFL. He's a genuine real guy. You know minus the whole (view spoiler)
Eye of the Tempest (Jane True, #4) by Nicole PeelerI can't think of a bad thing about Anyan yet (like Ryu being a selfish butt head), except the normal male thing with selective hearing. He seems to be too good to be true and not, I never make sense, all that I can say is that he fits. That or I am just not seeing it because I like his character, and I never liked Ryu’s.
Anyan is a great choice for Jane, now if things did not keep them from getting together….
I just finished
and utterly loved it! I don't want to wait til March for the next one. Need it now!Gonna start
next
@Mello - I would not recommend Last Kiss Goodnight. The premise is really well done, but the characters don't live up to it. Just don't go in with any expectations and you might actually enjoy it :) Adding Dark Light to my TBR pile.
Currently reading shattered secrets by RJ scott, Have read over the weekend Deefur Dog by RJ Scott, By Bailey Bradford have read Rescued and Relentless. Methinks finally ordering a kindle may turn out to be dangerous.....
Just finished Touch of the Demon. Gave it 5 stars. Now starting Something Witchy This Way Comes by HP Mallory.
Llaph wrote: "@ Arushi:Hey … marking a book to read counts as a review … I think I added an s, weird habit I have, I also sometimes switch if for in and mix is up in there too.

I am so sorry. I just saw this comment.
I get what you mean. The details need to be correct. You have that right. I'll wait till your library gets next books to see what you think of it :)

LOL, yup, it is! Seeing a book, pressing a button, then starting to read it is highly addictive!
Happy e-reading, Daniel! :D

But it's the good kind of dangerous ;)
