TWILIGHT HATERS discussion
Hello!
>
Guys aren't the only ones who hate Twilight

So, Edward Cullen is Impossible logically as a male?"
Not so much. It's not that he's impossible, because, unknown to Bella (like most things), he does indeed have his flaws. He's a creepy, controlling, immature paedophile that looks like a handsome man that fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on his way down.

like twilight hating shirts? when i was at comic-con i saw people who had these shirts that say TWILIGHT IS GAY

I want a t shirt that says:
Team REAL FREAKIN' LITERATURE!"
HEAR HEAR!!!XDXD

as much as i agree, please calm down. you'll give our group a bad name.

Well, since I have no one to hang out with at home other than my brothers I have come to understand that the average male at ANY age thinks like this:
1)Food/Bathroom
2)Boobs
3)Video Games
..."
Yes, that list is accurate!

Oooh, today I had to come to school an hour earlier :(( buuuuuut the reason was because our team had an invitational and we got so miss school!! :))
Which means that the coaches will be cracking down really hard on us because we came in fourth, and we "need to be perfect for the tournament!"

That's a lot of boobs...
That being said, that list is totally erroneous!
First of all, you didn't mention *censored*, nor did you mention *censored*, *censored*, nor how to get a girl to *censored*, or even how to get her *censored* to *censored* our *censored*
Now if ou'll excuse me, there's some *censored* that need a good *censored*
Im a girl who hates it cause its badly written

LOL to be honest, I haven't actually noticed that. My friends and I talk about perverted stuff all the time, and we're just about the furthest from sluts as you can get... :P
Girls are just as bad as boys when it comes to checking out the opposite sex. We're just more accepting of it in girls. :P

*raises hand*

LOL to be honest, I haven't actua..."
Wait I revise my opinion, just had a very alarming discussion with a senior in my theatre class...yeah, guys are pervs. Ick. At least, teenage guys. Girls are always the ones who are the sluts or the w****s, and guys are just players. It's unfair, no matter how lily white a girl is, she still gets called a slut.
There is something wrong with the differences between males and females. >.<

It's also one that annoys the crap out of me. The signs of mental/emotional maturity in teenage guys are usually seen as signs of homosexuality. Gotta love the irony there.
Teenage guys are usually a mess. You don't live up to the Player moniker or at least pretend to aspire to it, then you're typically seen as a "faggot."
Males do tend to get better as they get older.

Now if only there was a way to get SMeyer to read this... hmmm.
*cocks knife, bazooka, superspecialawesome gun that doesn't have a name yet*
Well SM, ARE YOU READY FO' THIS? *bam bam bambambambam bam bam bambambambam!*
*Sings*
Eye of the tigerrrrr!
Rising up to the challenge of our rivals!!

Also, Summer, this is not a blog, this is a group. Yes, there IS a difference. I know I already posted in reply to you in another topic in which you continued to post... although that was the first topic I saw in which you posted. I think it is unnecessary (and rather annoying) to post virtually the same thing in multiple topics. (This is a concept called spam.)
As I was saying before- this is a group, not a blog. A blog is something run by one (or a few) person(s), devoted to a topic of their choice. This Goodreads group is devoted to our dislike of Twilight. If a Twilight Lovers group exists, why should there not be a Twilight Haters group? If you say this group is pathetic because it is devoted to our opinions on this series, you are also saying that the Twilight Lovers group is pathetic because of the Lovers' devotions to their opinions. I am quite sure that you did not mean to insult the Lovers group, as you seem to be a fan of the series yourself.
I am not trying to offend you or provoke an argument- I am merely stating my opinions, as are the others belonging to this group. Hopefully, you will understand that we are not mindlessly bashing Twilight in every way possible- we do have actual reasons to support our dislike.

Yeah, at the end of BD, someone (I forget who) was like "No, they are not werewolves! They are actually SHAPESHIFTERS!" and everyone was like "O RLY" and I was like "WTH"

When I read BD and about the werewolves, oh sorry, "shapeshifters", I had the exact same reaction!! I was like, wth is this crap? Really?

Amen to that!
Amen to that!

It's like, Well, okay. If you want to tone down the vampire thing a little, or maybe put your own little twist on it (for uniqueness and stuff), that's cool. I like it when authors do that (*cough* Cirque du Freak *cough*), but sparkling?
No. Just... no.
Not. Working.

AMEN!!
When you are at the general age that people are when they read Twilight(that is to say, a teen) you usually have no idea what love is. You may think that you love your boyfriend, but you really don't. I only know of one case where a high school couple got married and are still together, and that's my aunt and uncle. They were married right after they graduated and are still together. But, then again, they grew up in Indiana and where in the same school together since kindergarten. But my aunt(who is two years younger than my dad) and my uncle still had two kids by the time my parents got married. Both of their daughters are married(one of them has triplets) and they are still together. That's the only time I have seen this work.
I understand why guys don't read the books(and this is coming from my own brother). One, with their experience with the people that have read the books, it seems that no other guys have read it, which means they don't want to seem weird or gay by reading it. And two, they simply don't want to read it because they have better things to do than read. So people saying that guys don't get it because it's about love is stupid and sexist. Guys hate Twilight mostly because they only have experience with the movies that their girlfriends or sisters made them sit through. I know that this doesn't apply to all of guys, but most of them. They hate it because the movies are bad, and they conclude that the books are just as bad(which is true). Guys aren't the only haters. Take me and all of my friends. We are all girls that really dislike Twilight. Stop being sexist, Twilovers.
Me!
