Isabella | 154 comments This book is AMAZING. I have my problems with the Cycle, but suddenly they don't seem as numerous when I read Inheritance. I even like reading about Roran in this one! A great ending to a great series! 5-star all the way.

Hannah (hannahoude) | 6 comments I LOVE all four books. And this one has to be my favourite! But I wasn't crazy about the ending, don't get me wrong I liked but I though it was super sad. I didn't understand why Eragon had to go away forever. Yah ok, I get why he had to go away but why can't he come back, he can still visit. Don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE this book and I sort of understand why Paolini did it. I'm still hoping there's a chance for another book!!

Isabella | 154 comments Haha, aren't we all? I actually love the end of this book myself. (view spoiler)

Hannah (hannahoude) | 6 comments Haha Yah! The more I think about the more I like the ending. I still find it really sad.

It's awesome! I've seen people on GR who were unhappy Eragon and Arya's relationship didn't get anywhere but I personally prefer it that they (view spoiler). Anything else wouldn't have felt real.

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments So I finally finished this book!!!! (Alexis and Isabella should be shock by this) Hahaha!
Anyway, now I can actually go on this thread and splurg, fangirl, and all of the above!
Here it goes... I have a couple of complants, so I will start with those.
1. The story was predictable, for example Arya becoming a rider or the Vault of Souls eldinari, although the eggs were a twist I didn't expect
2. The epilogue was boring and felt rushed, although I was impressed that he went on after the climax with Galby, most authors write short epilogues which gets on my nerves because they leave everything up in the air
3. The ending with Galby was anticlimactic, but ironic, I was more impressed with the fight against Shurikan
I know, I know, you are sitting there saying stop complaining. So here are the reasons I loved it!
1. I loved how Christopher wrapped everything up with the old generation dying off and the new generation taking up the mantle
2. I like the ending with Eragon, being bitter sweet, I wouldn't have been happy with a happily ever after like with say Arya or anything else
3. Galby was such an awesome bad guy, if a little over powerful, he wasn't just labeled evil, he had a purpose and a meaning that almost made sense, he almost won me over with his justifications, and there wasn't just a few times when he gave me goosebumps with how evil he was

There is still so much I want to know about this story so heres to a quick return some time in the future (even if it will be about someone else)!

The exchange of names really said it all for them. Good, sad, and loving wrap for them.

I don't get your Murtagh and Thorn obsession, I didn't get to know him well enough to really like him. Wish I did though!

I also liked how they put the world before themselves. Even if it was a little aggrevating. I don't like self deprication most of the time.

It was sad, partly because it is over too and also, because of the ending. I cried!!! Reply to this if you cried too!!

Through out the series I loved Roran more and more. I think I am the only one here who does.

Me too what? I kind of said a lot here...

The bit about Roran and your complaints and stuff you liked. I liked that Arya became the Green Rider; I don't think it should have been Roran, because he'd be immortal and have to watch when Katrina and Ismira died.

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments :) Glad to know I am not crazy then! Happy to have like minded people to talk to!!!

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments The epilogue was quite long, it felt dragged along.
Anyway, of course I liked it!
I guess I was just expecting more, or maybe I never wanted to end...

I loved Inheritance. Always constantly had u on the edge of ur seat. And then it just ended. Like chop ended. Like it was the end of a chapter. I was sooo mad until I went onto Paolini.net and found out about book five. I mean he culd have at least made Arya and Eragon kiss!
