It's cold here too, Kyle. It's also raining. I think it's supposed to rain here all day. :(

Oooh, cheesecake! Yummy!Hey all! It's 2:32 pm here. I'm taking it easy. I'm still recovering from major back surgery. (Back in april, but still mot back to normal. I was told it could take up to a year. Yay. :\ ) Plus I was in a car accident a week or so go, which set me back even more. Ouch!
It's 1:53 PM and I'm watching Desperation and really wanting to reread it! I love Desperation so much! I just ate McDonalds! Yum! Best fries ever!:D
Victor wrote: "It's 1:53 PM and I'm watching Desperation and really wanting to reread it! I love Desperation so much! I just ate McDonalds! Yum! Best fries ever!:D"I still have to read Desperation & Regulators! How does the movie compare to the book, Victor?
I still have to read Regulators, too. The book to movie adaptation is actually pretty well done IMO!:D

desperation is quite psychotic and the regulators is a twisted thrill ride... completely crazy.. :O
Your welcome, Kathy! Alondra-Desperation is, very psychotic! I can't wait to read The Regulators! I'll probably read it instead of rereading Desperation.

It's 12:41, and I'm reading Carrion Comfort. Lee, hope you stay safe in Rafael does make a landfall.

Thanks Kathryn, so far it is about 90 miles east of us, so not much going on. I am catching up on discussions here then I think I am going to read some short stories. I got Throttle, The Heart Shaped Box, Mile 81, and InThe Tall Grass yesterday.
Figure I can bang all those out today and be ready start Swan Song on Monday. Get that read by the 18th and be ready for IT. LOL
It is 3:23 pm ET; and I have finished Carrion Comfort. Gave it 5 stars. I loved that book and recommend it HIGHLY.

It's 8:28am and I'm at work on Goodreads wait for new work to start my day. I pray that everyone have a bless day. :)
It's 11:23 here and my workday is already crazy! I work at a bookstore and my receiver is out so I get to do his job as well as my own. Yay! :\
I miss my days working at the book store. It is 10:30 and I am at work bored out of my mind and wishing I had more time to read IT.
It's 2:31 PM and I think Dustin is pretty awesome too. As well as our other lovely moderator, thank you. Currently I am counting down the hours till I get to head home from work.
It is 7:23pm ET; and had first day of orientation at my new job. It was boring and now I am home playing on the stupid computer and reading 3 books at once. I can't help it... it's a must for me. :DCoraline for boring time at orientation; Sherlock for bedtime and Wrinkle in Time for the in-betweens... :)
I love a wrinkle in time. that is one of my all time favorites from childhood that and the chronicles of narnia
Lee wrote: "I love a wrinkle in time. that is one of my all time favorites from childhood that and the chronicles of narnia"I have heard that a lot and am looking forward to reding more of the book; only a few pages in.
It's 6:00 p.m. Do you know where your children are? I have them, hahahah!
Actually, I am much too tired to go out kidnapping youngsters and listening to their caterwauling on this rainy night. I have just posted the 3rd installment of my short story, "Manuel Pascal," and realized it will be perfect to post the chapters once a week in order to leave just one week extra before Christmas. That is my present to anyone who wants to read it. It's not very long, and the installments are quite short.
I am suffering from a system all confused about hours to sleep. Two nights in a row, I have woken in the very wee hours and not gotten back to sleep. But I just attended Wordstock, had a great time, learned a lot, and made a surprising number of promising connections for editing work, so I don't think I'm going to be starving and thrown out on the streets this coming winter and year.
I am contemplating a second nap, but not feeling quite as tired as before I sat down to write this. I like this thread.
It's 10:24pm and I'm cruising the internet while running in to get glimpses of Alice in Wonderland on tv. Since there doesn't seem to be anything online that's in need of my immediate attention, I'll go read. :)

It is 10:36 AM and I am back at work trying to pass time on GR. Waiting for my headset to charge so I can go back to listening to Game of Thrones. Thankfully I am almost finished.

I read that one. I loved it!!! It was a great little Christmas story. I really like the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. A lot of great stories in that one. I hope you like it. Have you read Hound of the Baskervilles yet? Also a great novel. It's 8:08pm and I'm home baking a cake for my wife and watching tv.

Not sure if it beats Poirot, but I am definitely liking it. :D
It is 10:02 AM, and I really need to wake up!!
Also, I'm missing our lovely moderator very much..:(

It's 6:13 p.m., and I am NOT at church home group because I plumb forgot to go catch the bus to take me there. I was too busy looking for a group on here for bloggers and blog readers, after spending hours posting all my reflections on Wordstock on my blog. Dustin, have you been reading my blog lately? I don't know if anyone else has read it at all. *looks this way and that* It's sort of like being the fool on the hill--man with a thousand voices nobody wants to hear. And why should they, when they have other things to hear/read and say/write? I'm not as morose and I sound. Oh, yeah, and I have just come from enjoying a boiled artichoke in lemon butter and reading the rest of an article in Stealing Time, a literary magazine for parents. Yum!
It is 10:04pm ET and I am making fun of Kathryn... again!..about to read some more and go to bed..can't believe it is only Thursday tomorrow... where is Friday!!?
