The book Hold Me Closer Necromancer...what did you think?

What did you think about the book Hold Me Closer Necromancer? Did you love it or hate it and why? Did you like Sam as a character? Why? Did you enjoy all of the unique elements in the book (like the head in the box and Sam being able to raise the dead? Feel free to ask your own questions about the book and/or post comments here.

it was very amazing and i freakin loved it because im into mythical stuff and it just talked about saytirs necromancers and bringing the dead back to life everything was perfect but the thing that was very awsome was when Sam killed Douglas on the throat with his own knife.

3.When Sam was born, his mother and uncle "bound" him in order to hide and protect him from the evils of the world. In your opinion, is it ever alright to keep someone from reaching their fullest potential, even if it will keep them out of danger? Defend your answer.

Ok I will admit when I started picking books for this class I tried to find at least one book that I thought would defiantly interest boys. I was worried that Hold me Closer Necromancer was going to be one of those books that I just couldn't get into...but luck for me the author totally had be hooked after the talking head showed up outside Sam's door. This book was super creative and a real page turner!!

i can relate to the book by saying that when sam says he seen some weird stuff going on, well same here ghosts and stuff have been happening. The funniest thing is the chapter titles how they relate to some song lyrics such as "don't fear the reaper" and "sweet child o mine" but there wer some other ones that relate to the chapter. the part when sam's mom tells him that she and his uncle bound sam together to keep him sasfe i think is a good and bad idea, i mean yea he needs to be protected but how can he reach his full potential of his powers if he can't? how is he going to get stronger and protect himself? but he did became a powerfull necromancer by the teachings of douglas and ashley but still who doesn't want to be powerfull.
