This is the thread in which we will discuss which books would make good discussion subjects. Post your favorites, stuff you might be interested in reading, or just random things you've heard of. I'll start by suggesting something extremely cliche: I was very surprised at how many enigmans had never actually read The Hobbit. I would like to hear people's thoughts before settling on a book.
Perhaps the best books I've read this year would be "Blood Song" by Anthony Ryan, and "The Ocean at the end of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman. The first is an epic fantasy by a completely new author, and the second is a very personal fantasy-ish book by a well established author.
Enigmans who haven't read the Hobbit, however, are a problem!
