i've read the first two and i'm reading specials. i absloutly luved the first two but specials is getting boring. is extras like the same as specials or is it worse or is it better???

I've liked the whole sereies so far (I havn't read extras yet, but it looks good), but I have to say Pretties was my least favorite. I realy enjoyed the Specials though.

I really love this series - it's not very often you get a utopia/dystopia type novel that features a female character, but Specials kind of bugged me. I didn't like the emphasis on nature and how Tally is only truly herself out in nature. I don't know - anyone else have a thought on it?

I loved Uglies, but I hated Pretties. I don't think I'm going to read Specials, because I don't want to know what is going to happen. Besides, I don't care to find out how Scott Westerfeld can ruin his once great series even more.

I love this series because Tally is always finding some way to get into trouble. I have read the first two, so I want to read the third and fourth. Dr. Cable scares me.

I read Uglies, and I started reading Pretties, but I dropped it because I just couldn't get into it. It started to get REALLY boring!

Pretties was different than what I thought it would be. Not bad-different, though. I just thought that it would be more smokie-related.

Pretties was different than i expected too not sure i liked everything about it though but it was totally "bubbly-making"

This Is a pretty good book, although I like Uglies better, and specials has some pretty strange moments. But other than that Its a really good book and if you enjoyed Uglies than this is something that you could definitely read. But if Uglies bothered you than this might not be for you.

I bought the first three for a friend who was supposed to give me money for them and never did. So she never got her books... I finally read them and they are great, for anyone who likes reading I recommend it. I was told that Tally isn't the main in extra's and that she shows only for a second or two so I've stalled my reading of the 4th ... also considering I don't own the 4th one.

The obvious answer would be "Ugly" on account of that is what Tally is, and we know what being "Pretty" means. Also, an "Ugly" is constantly wondering what the other side is like. If you were a "Pretty" it wouldn't be a problem. Life as a "Pretty" would be easy. That's the diplomatic answer. Um...I don't know actually. I guess I'd choose to be Andrew Simpson Smith? Is that an option? lol.

Hmmm I like Uglies and i didn;t really like Pretties i mean if i heard them saying Bogus of Bubbly one more time i was going to throw the book across the room. I'm reading specials and so far it's good they us random for bogus and icy for bubbly it's really starting to get on my nerves. I just want Tally and David back together
