Amanda | 62 comments I read this book in the mid 90s but I think it was a few years old even then. There are these young adults, late teens early twenties, in a hospice type program only they didn't call it that. They just said it was a program/hospital section for people that were not going to live more than a couple months/years. There was a romance between two of the the patients. Each bit was about a different patient, how they came to be there and what their diagnosis was and so on. They met for support group kinda sessions some times.
The author wrote a lot of books, usually suspense/horror type of books but I don't think this one was either of those. That's all I can remember at the moment.

Regan (livingscenery) | 49 comments That sounds like The Midnight Club

Kate (katespofford) | 261 comments I also immediately thought of Christopher Pike's The Midnight Club. I recall the main character was a girl and she was trying hard to beat her cancer using New Age sort of methods. The Midnight Club was a group of the patients who met to tell stories after lights out at the hospice.
