Vasileios Kalampakas (stoneforger) | 9 comments Hello, my name is Vasileios Kalampakas and I'm a self published author. I also suck at talking about it.

I've got three novels out, two are scifi/fantasy and one is a historical espionage/mystery/thriller, you name it. There are also some scifi stories, and I've just released the first book in a series of fantasy novellas. I'm working on some a sequel and a new scifi novel as well.

I suck at promoting my work (didn't I already mention that?), so the best way to get an idea is to read something. There's free stuff of mine lying about at Amazon, Smashwords and all the places it retails to (like B&N, iTunes etc.).

This is what I've written so far:

Forge Of Stones by Vasileios Kalampakas Forge Of Stones
Bobby on a stick by Vasileios Kalampakas Bobby on a stick
On the riverside of promise by Vasileios Kalampakas On the riverside of promise
Of Man, Sun and Stars by Vasileios Kalampakas Of Man, Sun and Stars
Argo by Vasileios Kalampakas Argo
Party of Five by Vasileios Kalampakas Party of Five

Hope you like some of it!

I'll be glad to hear from you at kalampakas@stoneforger.com - I'll send you an ebook (MOBI, EPUB, or PDF or any format you need) copy to review. You could also visit http://www.stoneforger.com and get the FB links, the twitter, and so on.

Price: $0.99 USD. 46740 words. Published on August 29, 2012. Fiction.
On the tranquil shores of Lake Champlain sits the Bard's B & B -- not your typical vacation spot. Run by a Shakespearean scholar and a former bookstore owner, both with roots in the intelligence community, guests are often unruly, secretive, and occasionally downright dangerous. When a Syrian rebel leader's daughters are sent for safe-keeping, it's a spy free-for-all Shakespeare would have envied.

Chani (tempestchani) | 36 comments I'm looking for reviewers for my book, All That We See or Seem. This is a teen fantasy/paranormal. I'm willing to give out free ebook copies in exchange for an honest review. If interested please pm me or leave me a comment. Below is a blurb: Thanks!

Lily Bryg is a seventeen year old witch. She doesn't always know what that means, or how to control it, but she does know that to most, it paints a pretty little target over her forehead. If that's not bad enough, Ronan an evil king who believes she's his soul mate has been stalking her in her dreams. Should she fight Ronan and risk everything, or give up her freedom to possibly save her friends?

And what about Larkin, the attractive shape shifter who sparks a strong sense of deja vu within her? He claims they knew each other in her past life, but how could she trust something she can't remember? Dodging witches, demons, faeries, dragons, and much, much more, the Four are just beginning to realize that having power comes with a lot of responsibility. And sacrifice. But one question stands out among the rest, haunting Lily through out the nights and days. Should she fight Ronan and risk everything, or should she give up her freedom to the gorgeous, yet wicked, king in order to possibly save her friends?

Elle Jacklee | 33 comments I recently released my middle grade fantasy, The Tree of Mindala, and would appreciate some reviews, here on GR as well as on Amazon. If you are interested, I will happily provide you with a copy.

Synopsis:
Soon-to-be twelve year old Miranda Moon's overactive imagination has landed her in trouble again. This time, she's been suspended from school. Since her Halloween weekend just got extended, her parents decide to take her and her straight-laced younger brother, Marcus, to her late grandparents' old cabin. That suits Miranda just fine. She's always felt there was something special about the place. Besides, she has a knack for making the best of things.

But when Miranda finds a curious water globe hidden in the cabin, she and Marcus are catapulted into a world even she never imagined. A world where everybody already knows their family name and magic flows through the trees. A world called Wunderwood. But their arrival happens to coincide with the release of a sinister warlock from a forty-year imprisonment. Thornton Crow resumes his deadly agenda to find the source of Wunderwood's magical power, the Tree of Mindala, and seize it for his own.

As Miranda learns of her own connection to Thornton, she realizes that it's up to her to end his cruel and relentless cycle of death that would steal not just magic, but also hope. With only the cryptic words of a prophecy to guide her, she holds the fate of the entire realm as well as the safety of Marcus and the newly found branches of her family tree in her hands. Miranda's signature optimism is put to the ultimate test when she chooses to carry out the task that will save Wunderwood... or doom it forever.

Troy Jackson | 43 comments Hello all -

My new novel, The Elementals, was released in late October, and I'm always looking for people to get their hands on it. I'll be happy to send you a free copy (ebook would certainly be the easiest, fastest way I could get it to you, but if you insist on a paperback I can let my publisher know and see about getting one snailed mailed).

It is book one of a planned trilogy. It is fiction, and could fall into the categories of fantasy, historical fiction (historical fantasy is more accurate), action, and supernatural. Here is a brief description:

"Upon unifying the seven warring states under one banner, the First Emperor of China began solidifying power for what he envisioned as a thousand-year reign. Using those he conquered, the Emperor began a series of arduous projects, Including the first Great Wall, the Linqu Canal, and a national system of highways. Ignoring the physical and emotional toll exacted upon the people, his insatiable desire to further his own power has led to a growing, and secretive insurgency. One such organization is the Dragon's Spite who wishes to usurp control of the throne by nearly any means. But first they must marshal their forces strewn throughout the kingdom. More importantly they seek out three extraordinary girls who hold vast supernatural powers that can tip the balance in their favor. But do these unknowing heroines realize the talents that they possess? Will the Dragon's Spite reach them before the agents of the Emperor?"

Here is a link to it:

If you'd like to browse before committing, feel free to preview the first 8 or so chapters at:

Feel free to email me here at Goodreads or at troyjacksonauthor@yahoo.com.

Thanks, and I look forward to any honest reviews you may have.

Inge Borg (goodreadscominge_h_borg) | 48 comments Edward is a dreamboat of a man. He lives well, drives a racy Jaguar, and charms and entertains new lady-friends with panache--on their money.
Take Betsy. After sipping her heady Chardonnay, the smitten Mrs. Bunting hits upon a brilliant idea. Would he take her ill husband’s place on a prepaid Egypt tour? In a strictly platonic sense, of course. The dapper Edward buys himself a pith helmet.
Fate catches up with him in SIROCCO, Storm over Land and Sea, sequel to KHAMSIN, The Devil Wind of The Nile.
------------
This easy to read, small novella will be FREE on Amazon.com on SUNDAY, December 9. Any reviews on Amazon/Goodreads would be much appreciated.

Eric Dulin (EricDulin) | 47 comments My novel Condemned was free, but I can no longer offer it free as it has run out of days. But I'm happy to provide free e-copies to anyone interested in reviewing it! Just message me.

Condemned is a science fiction/action/mystery novel and revolves around Arigus Vanes, a man who wakes up at a murder scene and has no idea who he is or what happened. It follows him as he tries to recover his identity, and it is essentially an action movie set in a sci-fi setting with a twisted plot.

Your comment on your rascal Nook caused me to lol. I have a Nook, but I tamed mine. A few little shakes is all mine takes to know who the boss is. I'm always ready to give away (electronic) copies of my novel Loisaida, A New York Story if a review is promised, however, I would LOVE to give away electronic copies of my new novella Schrodinger's Telephone. The novella has NO customer reviews here, there, or anywhere at this point, and is beginning to feel bad about it. It's a difficult story to describe without spoilers. Let's just say it was written more for fans of The Twilight Zone than of Twilight.

Anyone interested in a free Schrodinger's, can message me on goodread with an email address, and I'll be in touch.
