TTPBM: Will you finish a book you don't like or set it aside and not waste your time with it?

message 1859: by Deanna (new)

Deanna (anovelglimpse) | 6025 comments Mod
It depends on the book and why I don't like it. Sometimes if I'm bored I'll just skim further ahead. If the writing is horrible or I hate it, I will put it aside.

TTPBM: What's one series you want to read this year?

I don't think that feature is available anymore on goodreads, I was trying to find it too! I however was curious about this a few days ago, sorted by Author and counted the ones that had more than 10-15 books.

Mine is shockingly, Abbi Glines, with 36 books??? I was shocked when I counted them up. I didn't think I had read that many books by her.

TTPBM: What is your favorite classic?

I'll say my father-in-law he is in his 80's and has been in out of the hospital and into nursing homes for rehab. It's terrible not getting to see him and really know how he is doing.

TTPBM: What book would you like to recommend for others to read?

message 1895: by Deanna (new)

Deanna (anovelglimpse) | 6025 comments Mod
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. That would be very hard.

I would recommend Grip (Grip, #1) by Kennedy Ryan How to Walk Away by Katherine Center . You have to read Flow first, though.

TTPBM: Do you have any plans for the 4th of July?

message 1896: by Chris (new)

Chris | 7142 comments Mod
Thank you for the prayers Deanna! My father-in-law just got to come back home and we have some in home care for him. He’s so happy to be home and so are we!!

We had a few friends over. It was nice but 4th of July on a Saturday and the weather was gorgeous I would of normally had our annual party with at least 50 people.

TTPBM: Do you have a go to strategy for getting out of a reading slump? Like a go to author, or read a a certain genre or reread an old favorite??

message 1897: by Deanna (new)

Deanna (anovelglimpse) | 6025 comments Mod
I usually try to read a different genre. Normally, I read romance so I try a thriller or celebrity memoir.
