I'll say the Cut & Run (Cut & Run, #1) by Abigail Roux series since I read all 9 books in the series and Ty and Zane are my favorite couple. They're how I got hooked on M/M Romances.

TTPBM: Same question

Leah from The Opportunist (Love Me with Lies, #1) by Tarryn Fisher - series

TTPBM: Have you watched American Housewife? It's a TV series on ABC and it's hilarious :)

message 1658: by idiffer (new)

idiffer Mmm, I feel like I should let someone who watched the series answer the question, really, but I can't help myself. But so that it's not totally wasted, I'll explain. I won't even try to watch it. Warning signs right off the bat: imdb rating of 7.4 (for a movie that would have screamed "Go watch it right now!", but for a TV show that is very low) + blurb let's you know that it's a typical comedy about family dynamics. seen that, done that, they're all the same. sorry.). I guess I can at least say "at least it's not a cop show".

TTPBM: any books that you liked despite them turning out to be not what you expected? (misleading blurb or if you've found something awesome that the reviews failed to mention)

message 1659: by Chris (new)

Chris | 7142 comments Mod
Who We Are by Nicola Haken I only read this book because some of my goodread friends had rave reviews. It wasn't that the blurb was misleading, but it didn't capture the real heart of the story. It was so much more!! I didn't expect to love it like I did.

TTPBM: Any new Fall Series you can't wait to watch?

message 1660: by Artemis (new)

Artemis | 4 comments No, I don't watch much TV

TTPBM: Are you excited for Turtles All The Way Down!!!

message 1661: by Chris (new)

Chris | 7142 comments Mod
Yes, I am excited! It’s on our weekly read shelf but not until December and I don’t know if I can wait that long.

TTPBM: Who was your most read author this year to date?

message 1662: by idiffer (last edited Oct 13, 2017 12:55AM) (new)

idiffer This year - Marie Lu (5 books (3 series)), although I generally don't read more than one book/series from an author.

TTPBM: What's your guilty pleasure book and why?

message 1663: by Chris (new)

Chris | 7142 comments Mod
I'm going to say anything by Lauren Blakely. She is my go to author for sexy, fun, fluff. Just and easy fun read. Her books are also on audible which I like and she uses some of my favorite narrators. Great for when I'm in a book slump or just read something heavy.

TTPBM: Same question!!

message 1664: by Esther (new)

Esther Jackson (ejjackson) I have to say that I do not have one.

TTPBM: What is your all time book and who recommended it?

message 1665: by Chris (new)

Chris | 7142 comments Mod
Making Faces by Amy Harmon by Amy Harmon. I love this book. No one specific recommend it, just noticed the high rating from some friends on goodreads and decided to read it, but I have recommended it to others!

TTPBM: If you were told you could only read books from one author who would you choose?

message 1666: by idiffer (new)

idiffer Patrick Ness, because his books are pretty different from each other. I don't adore his work, but I'll just get sick reading only, say, Brandon Sanderson (magic! swords!) or Haruki Murakami (all hhis novels are copypaste where it counts).

TTPBM: same question

message 1667: by Deanna (new)

Deanna (anovelglimpse) | 6025 comments Mod
I don't really re-read, so I don't really have one. Maybe The Deal (Off-Campus, #1) by Elle Kennedy .

TTPBM: Book you're looking forward to the most 2018?

message 1668: by Esther (new)

Esther Jackson (ejjackson) either Obsidio (The Illuminae Files, #3) by Amie Kaufman or Untitled (Throne of Glass, #7) by Sarah J. Maas
