No! Sad, but I'm a book snob. Always looking for high ratings by friends.

TTPBM: If a friend recommended a book in a genre you are not a fan of would you read it based on the recommendation?

I'll say "Level Four" of the two month Nov-Dec 31 holiday challenge! It was a fun one, but with the four holiday words I had to read 18 books and finding books that start with the letter is sometimes hard.

ONE of the books that I read over and over is Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire ...I can't help it...I have a thing for Travis...
“To douchebags!" he said, gesturing to Brad. "And to girls that break your heart," he bowed his head to me. His eyes lost focus. "And to the absolute f***ing horror of losing your best friend because you were stupid enough to fall in love with her.”
And NOW I want to read it again...Shoot! Oh well!

ester marie ♡⁎⁺˳✧ (esterrestrial) | 62 comments I would love to be written in the The Princess Diaries (The Princess Diaries, #1) by Meg Cabot series since I think it's the only book (or should I say, series) in my favorites that doesn't have someone dying in it. I wouldn't want to be caught dead in a story where someone dies! Wait, that sounded a bit weird. Haha. Anyway, I want to be Princess Mia because I think it would be totally cool to be a Princess for once and have the power to make a change. :) I totally support her in her passion about protecting animals and also, I want to be able to help people with depression like the organization To Write Love in Her Arms. I also want to be able to influence other people just like what Emma Watson did in the He For She Campaign. I know we can make a small difference even if we're just normal people but it would be way too cool if we could do it in a much larger scale. :)

TTPBM: Which book made you cry the hardest? :) (I'm a sucker for tragic stories. Haha)

Karen (readingaway84) | 2519 comments Mod
A Beautiful Wedding (Beautiful, #2.5) by Jamie McGuire - I am a HUGE travis maddox fan, but I felt like Jamie Mcguire used this book to justify impulsive actions that her characters (ABBY) made in the first novel, and that didn't feel right to me. I think those actions/choices although impulsive and rash, make the characters in her novel human, because we all occasionally make an impulsive/rash decision. It baffles me that she made it seem like Abby married Travis to keep him out of trouble. I just pretend like this book was never released.

TTPBM: A recommendation for a funny book?
