Yz wrote: "I'm always up for an excuse to read more books...but I will probably need help with my first name..LOL.."For Y you could go with: You Slay Me - MacAlister, it's PNR, and quite popular...
BriansGirl,I can't handle Danielle Steele..no offense..LOL...
Kasia,
I have You Slay Me as the book picked for me by Glori in Tricia's Pick It For Me Challenge. I'm hoping not to duplicate...but I guess, I can put that in...until I find another one..
ok, so I haven't read those... but this is what I was looking up for my A-Z challenge for Y:You Don't Know Jack - Erin McCarthy
Year of Wonders - Geraldine Brooks
You Suck: A Love Story - Christopher Moore
The Year My Sister Got Lucky - Aimee Friedman
You Can't Go Home Again - Thomas Wolfe
You Shall Know Our Velocity - Eggers
Thanks Kasia..great list..I'm leaning towards the Christopher Moore book...although I have to read the first one first.."Bloodsucking Fiends".
Yz wrote: "BriansGirl,I can't handle Danielle Steele..no offense..LOL...
No offense taken. I'm not a Danielle Steele fan either. I have 6 of her books because I got them as part of my $1/bag sales. I can't remember reading any of them yet. Then again, Z was such a hard letter to find a book for... I figured I could try one.
My Mom read Zoya a long time ago, when I was a little girl. If I can remember correctly, she is some sort of Russian royalty..or something. Thanks for the suggestion though...I appreciate it.
Now, on for the search for the Z-book...LOL..
LOL...Doesn't take much to do it...LOLI just added my last name, coz I only have 2 letters for my first name...LOL..
This is fun. I have no idea how I'm going to keep up with all of these challenges but I sure am going to try. Edit: 3/3 changed my list.L - Lyon: Lords of Satyr by Elizabeth Amber
O - One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
R - Raine: Lords of Satyr by Elizabeth Amber
I - In The Blood by Adrian Phonix
B - Bound by Blood by Jordon Lane

A - At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost
N - Nicholas: Lords of Satyr by Elizabeth Amber
T - The Darkest Kiss by Gena Showalter
I - If You Desire by Kresley Cole

LOL..Lori, this one is good until June 30...LOL..so, if you just chip away at it every month..you'll be good.
5 more books to add to my AZ challenges (no duplicating)= 57, yay![image error]
DONE!!
(I've made a few changes and I'm done, now I can start stressing about other challenges...)
I've tried reading Shogun several times. I've gotten at least half way through but I never seem to be able to finish it for some reason. It's been at least 15+ years since I've picked it up though.
BriansGirl wrote: "I've tried reading Shogun several times...."Ohh... now you're scarring me :). I've read King Rat by Clavell few years back, and loved it. So I hope this is readable. In the worst case I'll chuck it after 50 pages
I've read King Rat at least twice. :0)I could probably get through Shogun if I tried again. Maybe I was too young for such a thick book when I tried 20 years ago to read it. It is, after all, 1210 pages. (And mines a paperback, lol, so it's 2 inches thick.) It's one of those books that eventually I'd like to finish reading but I'd have to start over again since I don't remember anything 20 years later.
Wow! Another challenge. I am not sure how I will go with any of them as I am definitely an impulse reader. But what the heck I can give it a go (and unlike Kasia I'll be cross-challenging). I can't bring myself to lock in what I'll read but will fill and edit as i go.W

Kelley Anne,You have until June 30 to complete this challenge, so that should be around 5 months from now...LOL..
Some books that starts with E that I can think of are the following:
Ecstasy by Jacquelyn Frank (her first book for her new Shadowdweller series)
Eternal Pleasure by Nina Bangs ( first book also in a series...interesting twist..you get heroes with dinosaur soul forms..you just have to check it out..LOL..)
Two anthologies I haven't read: An Enchanted Season and Eternal Lover.
If you like chick-lit with a PNR twist, you can also try Enchanted, Inc. or if you like Young Adult fantasy, Eragon. Listen to it in audio, it's better.
I could only come up with a few chick lit titles that I've read that start with E:Every Woman For Herself - Trisha Ashley
English As a Second Language - Megan Crane
Everyone Else's Girl - Megan Crane
here are a few that i've read / plan to read:Everyone Worth Knowing - Weisberger
Every Which Way But Dead - Harrison (3rd in series)
Ender's Game
Equal Rites - Pratchett
Eric - Pratchett
Enigma - Harris
with Pratchett it's all part of series, but as far as I remember you don't have to read them in order, cause the main character changes from book to book...
Kaisa, I loved Enders Game. A friend of mine gave me that book last June and it, and Twilight, got me hooked on reading again.
Kelly Anne, here are a few "E" books that I found on my list...Embrace the Night
Elijah(3rd in the series)
Embrace the Night(3rd in the series)
Enders Game is in my AZ challenge & I've heard soooooo many good things about it ;)And it's funny, cause I got back to reading around last June as well, just in my case it was Sookie that got me hooked (but Twilight followed right after). Small world.
With all the other challenges going on and I don't get as much time to read as I would like I'm just going to try first and middle names and add more if I can later !J -

Happy reading! One more day before April starts.
Christel wrote: "Aww gee if I did my whole name I would be here for a year"I know the pain, that's why I kept it simple. I hope that's forgivable.
Hehe, there's no way I'd do my whole name. Too many Es. And Ys. And technically an X. Nope. You can't make me! :O) But maybe I'll get organized and post on the reading list thread.
Okay I will do this but I warned you!!C
