Thanks Gea, great picks! I will probably start with Colter's Woman because I have it on hand.

I am trying to hold out on Rapture until the paperback is released or I can get it from the library. I do love J.R. Ward though!

Lacy (lacy_stewart) | 1966 comments Nairabell,

I started reading Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead !

message 403: by Breann (new)

Breann | 398 comments Finished Divide & Conquer a couple days ago and *sigh*... it was so damn good Katie. Those men and their chemistry together is off the charts. I can't even form coherent thoughts about it. When I try to all I come up with is *sigh* and *swoon*. So sweet and sexy, but to end with that cliffhanger? I'm about to say screw all my other challenges! I need to pick up Armed & Dangerous!!

message 404: by Katie (new)

Katie | 2083 comments Lol! I'm glad you liked it, Breann...but was there ever any doubt??? I'm chomping at the bit to read Stars and Stripes!

message 405: by Vi (new)

Vi | 2794 comments We were missing only one recs - for Nairabell. Gea did the re-picks for her. :) Now we are at 100%.

message 408: by Fran, Moderator (new)

Fran | 12278 comments KarenH,

I finished Rocky Mountain Heat (6 Pack Ranch, #1) by Vivian Arend and I really enjoyed it. A sweet, sexy friends-to-lovers story- that Blake was HOT! I can't believe it was on my tbr for over a year! Thanks for the push to read it. I will definitely be continuing the series.

I hope to get to a few more on the list during the month. If you would like to read Shattered Glass with me later in the month just let me know :)

message 409: by Sassafrass (new)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4192 comments Fran, I've had that book for a long time. I better move it up on my TBR if you liked it!

Renee Nicole | 175 comments Dee wrote: "*dork hat off now"

But it's cute, I like your dork hat!!

I was able to handle day one, so I'm gonna go back in for more! It doesn't hurt that the story is very compelling.

Lacy

Have started reading Gabriel's Inferno (Gabriel's Inferno #1) by Sylvain Reynard

message 412: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey Rena! (wow, that's weird saying that!)

I'm so glad you recommended me Stealing Parker! I am for sure going to love it!

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Penney, I finished Vlad's book. Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost was GREAT! I actually liked the heroine better than Vlad. I cannot wait to read their next book in the spring. Frankie kicks ass! Thank you for the push to read this.

message 414: by Sassafrass (new)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4192 comments Thanks for the review, Jim. I'm going to be reading this soon. :)

Glad you liked it, Fran - it sat on my TBR for a long time before I got around to reading it, too.

I'd love to read Shattered Glass with you - my reading schedule is pretty flexible this month, so as long as I have a few days' notice to finish up what I'm reading, I can fit it in whenever is convenient for you. Just let me know when, and I'll be there! :)

Skandia (sfgirl) | 972 comments I finished reading Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews . I really liked the unique worldbuilding but maybe Kate is not my favorite heroine. Good, entertaining book, 3 stars.

SandyC (sandyc88) | 1287 comments I have finished one of my picks, Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) by Cassandra Clare . Although I enjoyed it, I think the love triangle aspect of the YA genre is overdone. It will be interesting to see how it's resolved in the next installment (I can hazard a wild guess!).

The two books in this series also have made me consider giving The Mortal Instruments series another chance. I read the first book and found it lacking, but perhaps the series gets better?

message 424: by Bror (Abrar) (new)

Bror (Abrar) (ab2y) | 152 comments I finished Lover Awakened and i gave it 3 stars just to not get stoned by J.R Ward and the book fans but i really didn't like the book at all . Believe me i like me some bad boy , tortured hero just like the next girl , but that was extreme . I didn't like all the attitude , the pity party and all the crap excuses ,i was tortured more reading this book , i think this was my last BDB book ever . SORRY :(

I finished reading Mr. Perfect last night, and enjoyed it a lot! I realized once I got into it that I had read it years ago, but didn't remember anything about it ahead of time, only recognized it as I read it so it was almost like reading it for the first time :) Thanks for the recommendation!

Lacy ,

Am done with Gabriel's Inferno. It is an ok book but a bit too slow and too sweet for my taste.

Am looking forward to reading The Hunger Games next though.

I just finished the Wolf and the Dove and really enjoyed it. In the beginning I did not think I would get over all the rapes that occurred but despite it all the Wolf grew on me. I gave it 4 stars.

There is another one out by that same author, but I don't know if it is a sequel or not. I will have to look it up, because I really liked it, too. If you like that kind of story, try the trilogy that starts with Dairy Queen by Catherine Murdock. It is awesome! Plus, I got to meet the author, my students and I got to have breakfast with her, and she is fantastic.

message 441: by Kami (new)

Kami (aidansmama) | 988 comments I finished my first book for this challenge Water Bound by Christine Feehan. I really liked it. I am giving it four stars. I would like to read some more books in this series. I am going to read Visions of Heat next.
