Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19219 comments Hey Lindy. Don't stress about it, as real life is definitely more important. So when you have some time, update your books and post the a score card up for each book you want to count in October for this challenge.
Then we can add your top scoring book to the list, and I can give you your badge.
Glad to hear you're and your house is alright though!

Janice (jamasc) | 60012 comments Lindy, I think you misunderstood the challenge. You only needed to pick ONE book. Then you score points for it IF it meets any of the qualifiers for genre, location, title, cover, theme, etc.

It looks to me like you picked a book for EACH point qualifier.

So, taking the first book you listed, Night And Day. You would score it like this:

Genre:
Mystery - 5 points
Thriller - 2 points

Theme:
Doesn't fit any of the themes - 0 points

Location:
Doesn't fit any of the locations - 0 points

Author:
Is from the nothern hemisphere - 1 point

Cover:
Predominantly green - 2 points

Title:
Doesn't fit any of the qualifiers - 0 points

Pages:
304 pages - 3 points

Stars:
You didn't assign any stars - 0 points

No bonus points apply

Total points = 11

I would suggest that you pick the highest scoring book that you read of the bunch you listed above, and report on that one.

Hey Lindy, If you want to post the cover, just click on add book/author (which I think you already know how to do). At the bottom of the "drop-down box" change the "radial button" from link to cover and the photo will be shown instead of the text for your book.

Some of the other books you read for the challenge might have had a higher score.

Yeah but, who could beat Connie's The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern tally? Did she get an extra badge for points?
