Don't fret, Jason. We said at the start that we don't filter for genre. If someone can't or won't review what they are allocated we throw it open to our registered readers to do the review. If we find we have problems we'll have a discuss and a rethink, but I reckon it will all come good.

Wow, this really did take off fast! Only one more person to go! I guess I'd better be at the ready...Question on first steps:
Do we click on the Goodread's links to befriend everyone in our group, then exchange email addresses now? Or is there more to it than that?
Group 1 opening Hi folks, I don't know if you've seen the post, but Johnny has had to pull out of Group 1 after the first round. This leaves the group short of a reviewer, who is also being reviewed, for rounds 2 to 4.
Would any of you like to jump forward to Group 1 and do those 3 rounds? You can do it instead of this Group, or do it as well, so getting 7 reviews of your book(s).

Now to answer your question, Anne.Different people like to work it in different ways. Personally, I prefer friending on GR and then arranging email attachment exchanges of files or sending Smashwords coupons. It really does depend on what each member can manage, but the bottom line is it is the author's responsibility to make contact with their reviewer and to get their book to them.
Looks like we're still waiting for one person here. I'm sorry, but I am going to have to drop out. October is going to be busy for me promoting my book (its horror, plus I love the season). I'd like to do it, but I am not sure I could keep up to schedule. So rather than hold the group back, I will return for a future group (if that's okay).I will, of course, be able to finish my Group 2 obligations. I'm just too slow a reader... Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for all of your efforts Jay, Marie-Anne and Mike.
That's fine, Jason, thanks for letting us know about this group and sticking with your commitments for group 2. We'd certainly much rather know before a group is finalised than have someone drop out when it's already up and running.Good luck with your promotion efforts, and you'll certainly be welcome in a later group.

- standard review sites are here on GR, Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
- other review sites are only by agreement between author and reviewer
- please post a link to your GR review here on the round thread so we all know you've done it and can quickly get to it for a peek ;)
- any problems along the way, use this thread or Talk to the Mods and we'll do our best to sort it for you

You add the book to your reading list. Then you mark it as 'read' and click the edit button. Give it a review there.
