My not so humble review on *the* best book I've ever read...

I have to say that when I first started the series, I wasn't sure I could finish. I am so glad that I continued because this series is probably tied for my favorite. I can not recommend this book enough. As most of you have said, yes, there is some rough parts but if you can just keep reading, you will find an amazing story that unfolds.I can not wait for the third installment to this series. A MUST READ!!

wait,i thought there was going to be a 3rd about caleb. when did this change and why nooooo i wouldve loved it! definately up in my faves. it was just so crazy good i cant explain all the emotions i felt through this.

Aww.. I wish I hadn't read this thread. I really hate unfinished stories with a passion. I wasn't the biggest fan of the series, but I hate not knowing how any story ends. Even the ones that I didn't particularly like.

I don't understand the logic behind another epilogue. Seduced in the Dark already had one. It was written in 3rd person with a lot of focus on his pov. Why wouldn't an omniscient 3rd person narrator not know and/or not tell the truth of what really happened? It seems a bit confusing to me. Author attempts at retroactive continuity is kind of a pet peeve of mine too. (I'm not saying definitively that this is what the new epilogue is. It was just what I thought of when I heard about it.) I just don't see the point in releasing an alternate epilogue for an already completed novel and charging extra for it as a stand alone.

I believe the new epilogue came about due to the response of the fans. She was going to write another story with the FBI agent and his lifestyle, which I will totally read. But we wanted more Livvie and Caleb so this is the result. Our wish is her command . This new epilogue is in Caleb's POV from the time they meet up in Spain to the old epilogue (present time). There's a sample on her FB page which I think you will like. Livvie just doesn't fall into Caleb's arms and forgves him. She has questions and makes Caleb work for her forgiveness. So I for one am looking forward to if and can't wait to get in Caleb's head....lol
