I decided to pick up - I really like Kristen Ashley's books - but I invest a lot of time in them (they are all big) and I like being sucked into the world - so I have to tune everything out when I read them :)

I don't think I've read her, who would you compare her to?

I'm not sure who I would compare her too. This is my 3rd novel of hers (She has like 50 out and I'm not exaggerating). She's self-published. All of the books that I read have strong female characters that are closer to my age (the one I'm reading now the heroine is 42) and her books feature alpha male heroes. All of the ones that I have read so far part of the plot features somewhat of a crime/murder ... but that's not the focus of the story, just part of it. I really like them.

I am going to read it Chris...I just have to decide if I want to wait for it at the library (I have a hold on it, but there are 6 people in front of me) or if I just want to buy it...the struggle is real! Bookworm problems!

That's soooo hard those are all favorites for me so here goes
1. it's always great to finish a series plus it's a summer book and bonus takes care of a challenge
2. this is great to read with Josh and everyone still fresh in your mind
3. I just read this and loved it...if you need a good cry...perf ft

I'm a little confused on the order I should read these books??



It looks like Kick, Push is book 1 of the Kick, Push series and Coast is Book 2, but then Kick, Push is book 2 of the Road series. So is Where the Road Takes Me the first book and the other two are spins from it???

Good Info - I haven't read these yet and want to! I too didn't realize to start with

and Chris - was 3.5 stars - It was enjoyable, but not the best. The male hero has ADD and when you are reading from his POV his thoughts are a crazy rampant off the wall and nonsensical (which I get) but it drives me as a reader crazy.

OMG you are reading Game of Thrones! I just recently binge watched this series to catch up with Season 6 and watched it live. It's sooooo good. I have to read the books.

I have never seen the show, but it seems like everyone likes it!! So I got the book and man oh man!!! I have already cried like 3 times and yelled and screamed!!! I love it because every chapter is a different persons POV!!! Even the children play huge roles!!!.....did I mention I am only 19% in.....this is going to be an evil addiction I can feel it!!!

Just started reading The Catcher in the Rye. Haven't actually heard anything about until I saw it on a list of Classics here on GR. The reviews was really variated between "hated it" and "loved it" and that somehow intrigued me. Anyone read it and if so, what's your thoughts on it?
