I read the book while camping this weekend. I'm not sure what to say about it. It had me laughing a lot, but wasn't as good as I was expecting. It was slow until like 50% in.

I'm having a little trouble reading it cus the main character is a bit conniving. But its something different than the usual books I reAd so I think I'm gonna finish it. What sucks is that I saw a review that gave out a huge spoiler:/

and this is the first book in a while that I can't tell who the good guy is ....I love/hate when I can't figure out the story!!

I'm having a little trouble reading it cus the main character is a bit conniving. But its something different than the usual books I reAd so I think..."This whole series is really different! I get what you mean with the conniving. The second book was even more shocking to me, but I just wanted to say the third and final book is on my favorites shelf. I loved it. It's a well written series even though it is different in that conniving way. Sorry you were spoiled, that is never fun!!
Just finished
and I don't usually say much about the M/M Romance books I read because this is a YA group and M/M Romance is not appropriate for under 18, but this book was such a feel good story. It was like comfort food and I loved it. I only gave the first book 3* and I'm not sure why, because I loved the whole family and the farm so much. This one was definitely a 5* for me.Not sure what I'm going to read next, but I'm off to decide now!! :D

I didn't really care for her chocolate lover series...I found it corny instead of funny...but
is completely different from that series and
is just the companion novella to go with it.

Chris is asking about Tarryn Fisher who wrote the "Love Me With Lies" series. I thought that series was very good, but it's more of a dark read so it's not for everyone. Tara Sivec has written quite a few series. I actually enjoyed the "Chocolate Lovers" series even if it was over the top humor.

The only reason I caught it was because I did the same thing. Instantly was thinking Tara Sivec books that I liked and then I clicked on her author link and was like oops wrong author. hahahaha

Well though u are speaking for a different author here but I agree with you ..I read yhe first book in her chocolate lovers series and it wasn't my favorite.
But I will try to read Fisher's light :)

I read Mud Vein. I finished it, but it took me a while. It was so...I can't even think of a good word for it. Maybe disturbing? It definitely wasn't what I was expecting. It's the only book I've read by her.
