If you could perform one spell from HP, what would it be?
I just want Molly's enchantments for house cleaning.

I'd use Imperio from time to time. Especially with politicians. You know... if you want things done well do them yourself, yes?
And either Crucio or Sectumsempra on religious bigots.
Protego (and Protego Horribilis, used by Prof. Flitwick in the final book to protect the Hogwarts castle) is also one of my favourites, and Bombarda Maxima.
Alright I'll bite David. If you are going to use spells to kill and hurt those whose politics or beliefs you don't agree with what makes you any different from them? Peace, love and tolerance towards all. Those who agree with me and those who don't.

Just yesterday I read that Republicans in Alabama are pushing a bill to erradicate condoms and the contraceptive pill based on religious beliefs! Not only do I not agree with that, I believe these people are dangerous. The law applies to all of us, not just them. If they moved to pass a bill that would only apply to them and the ones who agree with their politics, fine. I'd be all for it! But this is something that affects us all, and it is known that Reps want to push the nation backwards in time, what with their disregard for science (except, of course, when they're suffering of hiv or cancer... instances in which they abandon their prayer groups and run to the doctor at speeds that berate the MACH-4...), women rights, African American rights, equal oportunity and LGBTT rights. So yeah, given the chance, I'd eradicate them from the face of the Earth and wouldn't think twice before doing it. I'm just writing what many think but don't dare to say out loud.

Peace to you too, Gretchen. Mind you, fighting fire with water is wise. Fighting fire with fire has value also. Some people just don't understand when you are diplomatic. Some people understand only when you pay them back with their same currency. There are individuals of both kinds in this world. One must always learn how to deal with both. In this regard, I'm both a water and firebender. :-)
David, I think the people you mean are "bigots, zealots and fundamentalists" not "Republicans", many of whom are quite normal and not at all a part of the extremists that are pushing that nonsense. Okay, a few of whom are quite ... umm .. I'm sure there are a couple people somewhere who identify as Republican who aren't completely off their rocker ...Anyway, as to me, I agree with whomever said the cleaning spells that Molly uses - I could definitely use something like that around here!

They are awesome. I'd love to be able to produce them.
