I love to listen to music, not so much when I read, but when I write.So when it's sad, I listen to stuff like: Yiruma- Kiss the Rain and Rainy Mood (Mashups included)
When it's happy I like: Summer by Joe something or any happy songs really
When it's a cute scene I love: a river flows in you & Somewhere over the rainbow/wonderful world mashup.
When it's passionate or dramatic I like any good rock
etc
But nothing beats my romantic scene song- I can't help falling in love with you by Elvis <3
I love listning to 96.4 Eagle radio when i am writing, as it is a station that plays a lot of current music in the charts and R&B. Most of the time i sit in silence but in an evening i like to put the radio on. I would also say that drematic music, classical and songs by Kelly Clarkson are great with historical novels (not sure why, but i can picture it clearer in my head?!) x

This song totally suits Daemon from 'Obsidian' as well, or any other "I know I'm gorgeous and I know everyone knows it too" kind of guy. Everytime I listen to it, I can just picture the wicked smirk ;D

the songs I listen to when reading/writing are usually whatever Pandora give to me (sometimes I just pick my fav. bands). Sadly if the song doesn't fit the mood of the book/ scene then I'll tune it out :(

This song reminds me of Will Herondale (yes, again with Mr Herondale - I'm obsessed, what can I say?!) - the bit in Clockwork Prince where he admitted his feeling for Tessa. This song is a perfect summary of Will's emotions, feelings on the despair he feels when Tessa tells him about her and Jem.

I still love Disney. The films bring back happy childhood memories, from 101 dalmations to Mulan and Bambi- love them all! x

This one, I chose for
'Throne of Glass' by Sarah J Maas. The scene in mind is the one where Dorian comes across Celaena playing the piano - a heart-wrenching piece, that brings back memories to her of Sam, the love she lost. It is one of the most powerful scenes in the story and when I heard this song, I realised there was no other song for Celaena.Gravity by Sara Bareilles
