No suggestions for team names. I'm horribly uncreative. I like Terrible 2's.

I was captain of my team last round so I know how to do it if no one else wants to. Anyone else is welcome to do it if they want to. LOL

I'm good with terrible 2's. and I was also a captain last round so I can do it, however I'm not particularly eager to take the position this round. I am good with whoever wants it.

I'll vote for Terrible 2's too. I was co-captain 2 rounds ago (like I would harass my team mates to post their reviews so that I could compile them and the captain would request the stamp). it was funny at times and others not.
This time around I'll be more occupied so I am not the best choice either...especially on weekends where it counts the most.

Hell, we are a team of 'former' captains, won't be hard to whip us into shape. :-)

Shelf I'm most excited for: series catch-up (I have so many series going right now it's pathetic)

Shelf I'm trying to figure out what to do with: dragons - I have absolutely no books with dragons in my TBR pile by my bed right now. A trip to the library may be in order for that shelf.

I don't think I have any dragon books, either. I could re-read one of the Game of Thrones books but not in a week, that's for sure!

Shelf series catch-up is always good to have.

Kari, there is a reading challenge for dragons on SOS and people did some mini reviews and stuff. Might help. I myself when on a binge reading and overdosed on PNR last year. I'm very cynical and read a few...make what you want of my rant:

Dragonfire series: Standard PNR, big dumb alpha shifter males find mate, do the deed and takes of...normally. Good and bad dragons with one-dimensional evil master mind. Surprizingly, there is a storyline and stuff do actually happen without too much internal boring monologues about how both H/h should not be together. Good series, quick read.

The Dragon Kin series: Medieval setting, lots of comic relief characters that do not get on my nerve. Heroine are a little 'mad' and drive their male crazy. Good series.

Elder Races series: Only first book has a dragon as hero. Big badass dude, powerful, rich chasing the girl while everybody is out to get her. Good series, lots of different creatures: griffin, demons...

Aisling Grey: Guardian series: People love this YA series. I've read it, it would be perfect if not for the damn comic relief character that I can't stand.

Dragon's Heat series: Ok I guess if you want 3/4 sexfest and 1/4 of actual story. you just have to read it for the right reasons.

Myth and Magic series: Her Riley Jenson series is waayy better...but there is no dragon.

Shadow of the Dragon series: Erotica, medieval setting. I loved the fact that the hero is infected and slowly loosing his humanity to the dragon while the heroine is tending to him. Loved the identity crisis going on.

Dragon Spirit series: Got it as a freebie, I think it`s self-published so some minor editing errors here and there. This one was pretty hilarious PNR...the male fire spirit gets stuck in the body of the heroine while her soul is still in there. Body coordination makes for pretty funny/embarrassing moments.

Drakon series: Historical PNR, first 2 books are the best of the series.

I have yet to read Temeraire series, alternate history with Napoleonic wars with air support...from dragons. Lots of awards too.

The problem is that I'm late reading YA novels. I'm not saying that I don't like them...it's just there are so damn many with high rating....and many with category like Goodreads authors and the like.

My problem isn't with the shelves its the books contained there find it really difficult just choosing one, think I might need to put a selection in a hat this time around and pull one out!

I am fine with the team name terrible two... Although hope we're not terrible :)

I have never been captain and too be honest don't think I would have time lots of decorating going in the house at the minute, but maybe we could use the person who volunteered first.

Valerie, it's on 1073 shelves so your chances are pretty good! So, this is a series you would recommend? (I read and didn't really care for it.)

I love both series, they are pretty similar except for the world building. I love the characters because even if it's PNRish...there is a story.

If you did not care for one series, you might not like this one either. The author is pretty consistent in her writing style.
