I'm thinking of novels that have a unique and/or beautiful graphic design element. Post your recommendations here, and I'll create a group bookshelf for them.

Clearly House of Leaves is a strong contender!

Also, I have a copy of Scorch Atlas that is gorgeous. The pages are black around the edges, and each one looks as if it has been through a fire.

The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick pictures are part of the story
and of course Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut

Wow. I really want to be cynical about a book written entirely in footnotes, but I'm actually really keen to read it!
