Option 2:
Option 3: Riversong, The Ninja Librarian
Option 4:
Option 5:

Okay, I'll stop gushing now and go pick my book. Just wanted to tell you this is epic -^_^-

Option 1: I really like mysteries!
Option 3: oh, and books...and books about books! Fav!
Option 4: oh, me. I have lots of books with the word "wife" in the title. My husband teases me about being stuck on "wife". And, I like Neil Gaiman.
Decision, decision.

Okay, I'll stop gushing now and go pick my book...."
Thanks!! I love River too! I think I want to be River when I grow up. I'm glad that you like my task!!

I just read it during the summer so I won't be reading it again soon, but it might be fun for others.
And, what a great task!

I just read it d..."
Ooh, thanks for the option. I hadn't heard of that one. It looks pretty interesting.

I will almost certainly pick option 3, because that one is amazing :), but I just wanted to gush over the fact that there is a Doctor Who task! :)

I try to read first from my TBR pile and sometimes I can't find much to fit into a task, but I've got multiple things to fit into every option here! How do I choose?

Aw man...I didn't know that book existed. I want to say yes, but he mods said that the books had to fit the task description. And the tasks are already final so I can't change the description. I'm so sorry, because it is indeed perfect. Can you use it for Option 4? It has "Romance" listed on its main page. Again, I'm terribly sorry.

Deanna, I've talked to the mods and since my task was one of the last to go up, it wasn't finalized when the rest of them were. So we tweaked option 3, and you can totally use Riversong if you would like. Sorry about the confusion.

I'm so sorry Monica for the late reply. I hadn't received the notification.
The Ninja Librarian will be fine for Option 3.

Haha...that's perfect, I'm reading that too!!

Doctor Who is my favorite television show. To say that I'm obsessed with it is an understatement. The Doctor is a time-traveling alien who travels through time and space saving the world from all sorts of catastrophic bad guys and events. Next year, the show celebrates its 50th anniversary. In the show's 50-year history, the Doctor has met some amazing people and visited some pretty cool places. Your task is to choose one option from my list of favorite episodes. Trailers for each episode are provided if you click on the title of each episode in case anyone is interested.
Required: State which option you chose and include any other required information when you post.
Option 1: The Unicorn and the Wasp - The Doctor meets Agatha Christie at a garden party and we learn about what "really" happened when Christie went missing for ten days.
For this option, you can read any Agatha Christie novel, any book about Agatha Christie, or any book with "mystery" listed as a genre on its main page. Examples: Murder on the Orient Express, Duchess of Death: The Unauthorized Biography of Agatha Christie, The Hound of the Baskervilles
Option 2: The Empty Child - The Doctor ends up in London during the blitz in World War II and he tries to help a little boy find his mommy. Sounds great until you realize that the little boy has a gas mask grafted onto his face and all he can say is "Are you my mummy?" Its terribly creepy.
For this option, you can read any book, fiction or non-fiction about World War II or any book that was originally published in the 1940s. Examples: The Book Thief, The Diary of a Young Girl, Jeeves in the Morning
Option 3: Silence in the Library - The Doctor visits an abandoned 51st-century library. Turns out the whole planet is a library. That's my kind of planet. The Doctor meets Professor River Song, who knows everything about him and he knows nothing about her. River Song becomes one of my all time favorite characters. And by the way, the shadows in the library eat people.
For this option, read a book with the word "river" in the title or a book that takes place on a river. Or you can read a book about books. Plurals and possessives work as will books that contain the words "River Song" or "Riversong," but no other variations are allowed. Examples: The Bridge Over the River Kwai, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Shadow of the Wind
Lists that may help out: Rivers and Books About Books As always, be wary about the lists. Not all of the books fit the task.
Option 4: The Doctor's Wife - Without spoiling too much of the plot for those who haven't seen the episode and may want to, the episode is about the Doctor's "love affair" with his TARDIS. The TARDIS is his time machine/spaceship and its one of the only constants of this ever-changing show. It is a beautifully written episode by the wonderful Neil Gaiman and it makes me cry.
For this option, you can either read a book by Neil Gaiman, read a book with the word "wife" in the title, or read a book with "romance" as a genre on its main page. "Wife's" and "wives" in the title will also work, but no other variations are allowed. Examples: The Graveyard Book, American Wife, P.S. I Love You
Option 5: Blink - "Blink" is my favorite episode of any television show ever. It is also one of the scariest episodes that Doctor Who has ever done. There are statues and when you turn away or even blink they get closer and closer to you. If they touch you, you get taken out of your time period and get put somewhere in the past. It doesn't sound like much, but ask any Doctor Who fan what their favorite episodes are and this will probably be in their top five.
For this option you can either re-read your favorite book of all time or read a book that has "horror" listed as a genre on its main page. Required: State that the book is a re-read if choosing that option.
