So, I finally got around to continuing with the series. I just finished reading (or rather listening to) Changeless and talk about cliffhangers - I'm going to have to get my hands on Blameless ASAP.
About the (view spoiler): I'm sad about Conall's reaction, but I also understand why he made the assumptions he did. He has thousands of years of supernatural history to fall back on and nothing like this has happened before now.
Definitely excited to see where the Maccon's go from here.
Random side note - was anyone else bothered by the fact that they constantly call each other "husband" and "wife." Maybe the audiobook put undue stress on it, but it definitely irked me.

I just finished this series. I loved it. My favorite was probably Heartless.
Mega Spoiler's below:

Ms. Carriger really made a fantastic world here with amazing characters. It is sad to see it end. Though her next book comes out next month with a whole new set of characters I believe. Also I have been buying up all the Manga versions of Soulless so I can read the story again with a new media. I might be obsessed.
Just finished the series and I am left with a sad sense of ending and profound addiction to tea. I'm excited by my timing though with the new YA series set in the same world coming out next week. (Feb. 5)And then Parasol Protectorate Abroad is starting with a book named Prudence. It will be lovely to pick up a few years after we left off. Not sure when it is coming out, but she's done writing it and going through revisions. Etiquette and Espionage will have to hold me till then. =D
Nym, check out Gail's website http://gailcarriger.com/ I found it very helpful with learning about release dates. I was devastated to find out that she was done at book 6. But glad that she is continuing it on. Though I am not a fan of going to YA books but willing to give it a shot.

So true! My Lord/Lady always irks me when it's a married couple addressing each other in private. If they're in public, I suppose it's an acceptable etiquette thing. ;)
I think what gets me the most is the way the narrator renders Conall saying wife. I think it's a mix of her accent and the gruff voice she uses for Conall, but it reminds me of the way I sarcastically say "Yes, Mother" to my mom when she's reminding me to drive carefully or some other such thing that I don't feel, at 27, I need to be reminded of. lol
I just recently finished Blameless and Heartless and this series really just keeps getting better. I'm waiting until my audible credit comes in next month to get Timeless, but unless it's terrible (which I doubt) this will definitely be one of my all time favorite series.
I do want to punch Akeldama in the face for not not warning Alexia about inviting the vampire hive into Woolsey, but I suppose the werewolves in London will make for a very amusing fifth book!
I'm also looking forward to The Parasol Protectorate Abroad, which is slated for 2015 (after another push-back). It stars Prudence and is intended to look at how the supernatural cultures have evolved outside of the British Empire. Sounds fun!

This is one of my absolute favorite series! I "read" these in a combination of DTE, ebook, and audio book. I had no problem with the "wife", but I totally get why you say it. There was an odd emphasis placed on the word by the narrator.
I think I had a smile on my face almost the whole time I was reading the series. I just loved Alexia's solid practicality in contrast to Conall's bluster.
Forgive me for not remembering in which book this storyline was prominent (I believe it was either Heartless or Timeless), but I really loved (view spoiler)
Again, from the later books, I thought (view spoiler)
Finally, I want to compliment the covers. I think they capture the spirit of Alexia very well.
Totaly Agree with you Valerie and Vicky. I had some "um ok" moments, but I over all love this series. I have yet to read Timeless as my library, online and in paperback doesnt have it and I work in a book store and we do not have them either. But I love the graphic Novels, they are a tad racey but So awesome. I am looking forward to the series with Prudence in YA but wish it didnt keep getting pushed back.
I forgot about the graphic novels! I only have the first. However, I am allowing myself some gn shopping tonight. Guess I will add this to my list!
I finally got my audible credit for Timeless and finished off the series! Changeless and Blameless are my favorites of the lot, but they're all great and I can't wait for PPA to start coming out.
I also loved Biffy's story line, especially in Timeless. Lots of unexpected turns with him. It's great that he is providing a means for (view spoiler), which is something I was hoping to see resolved (or at least) addressed before the series ended.
I know PPA is supposed to be abroad and I'm sure it will have cameos from Alexia, Conall and Lord Akeldama since they are (view spoiler), but I hope we also get to see what happens to the rest of the gang!
