I'm going to steal Robbie's vocabulary and say that Jason is the one who gives me the jimjams. :D He just turns me off.

Jess | 12 comments Seriously, who has a dog whose best trick is that it sits there are stares at you? What a boring life for a dog. Oh sure, a little to the left is fine, but if all that dog can do is sit there like a statue, there's something wrong.

Heh -- that dog and his a little to the left and his turning his back is one of my favorite scenes!

I didn't say I didn't like the scene, it's a cute scene and a very cute dog, I'm just saying, if that was a real dog, and that's all he did, it might creep me out after a while. :)

Skena Megahed Luke of course he's so sweet

Dottie (oxymoronid) | 698 comments Jess, I'm sorry -- I didn't mean anything in my response to your mentioning the dog -- it was just that your post reminded me of how much that scene made me laugh. We're good, okay -- and yes if a dog had only that in his repertoire it would be freaky. I personally prefer my little dog who has no real tricks -- he just likes to curl up in my lap -- hee-hee.

Jess | 12 comments Dottie, I wasn't upset in way at all, so there's nothing to apologize for. :) My first post was more of a jab at Jason and his personality to be the type of guy to have a dog that only did that, plus we never see him again. It is a very cute scene and I would scoop that dog up in a second. :) Speaking of weird dogs... Paul Anka?? I just want to snuggle with him!

Dottie (oxymoronid) | 698 comments Oh good -- and oh my goodness -- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE PAul Anka. And it has nothing to do with him being named Paul ANka after one of my all-time favorite singers from my adolescence.

Come on... Wasn't it always Luke? :)

YES. It was ALWAYS Luke :) Max wasn't right for her, just totally different to her and not what Lorelai deserved. Chris was everything she fought against, upper class, rich, priviledged and not even that nice. He abandoned her and Rory not only when they were kids but all through Rorys life. He's horrible.

Whereas Luke was always there for both of them, is lovely, kind, sweet and just perfect for Lorelai :D

I did like Max, but the friendship and chemistry just wasn't there. But I thought he was a stand up guy, unlike Chris. Chris just waltzed in and out, knowing she'd be there when it was convenient for him. It just wasn't a good side of her.

No it wasn't a good side of her. I couldn't stand Chris, to me they were forced togethe as teenagers by their upbringing, but they have nothing in common as adults and his willingness to abandon both Lorelai & Rory as and when it suited him proves how selfish he is. Not right in any way for the lovely Lorelai.

I agree, there was no chemistry between Lorelai and Max. Just wasn't there at all.

But Luke and Lorelai.....man, they are just absolutely perfect for each other! <3
