newest »

Deep Blue
In Fincham’s 7th outing, he's engaged in taking on Somali pirates, all because of a giant blue diamond. He has to save a kidnap victim, as well as uncover who are the men behind the pirates.
Fincham will need all the attributes of the Royal Navy’s new super submarine, H.M.S. Astute.
Follow Fincham as he travels to Somalia, and Dubai, as well as running into some trouble at home.

Medusa Defence
In Fincham’s 6th outing, the murder of a politician sends Fincham on a chase to find Medusa, a world famous model. He has to find out what she knows, and protect her from those who want the information she has.

Sicilian Defence
In Fincham’s 2nd outing, Fincham and his team are after a Middle Eastern terrorist, but the Italian Mafia stand in their way. Can he and his team outfox the Mafia, and still catch the man they’re after.

I’ll quote my reviews under the heading of another book – The First And The Last (anyone tell me who wrote it? Got a little quiz thrown into the promo.)
Here’s one for the first book
5.0 out of 5 stars Wartime reality, that's what my husband called it!, April 12, 2012

This review is from: The Barcza Gambit
My husband insisted that I pass on his thoughts on this book. Five of five! He, being a veteran, absolutely enjoyed the realism employed. The writing was professional and easy to follow. No spoilers. He told me nothing else. Only that its a five star read.
And the last (book 9)
5.0 out of 5 stars Queen's Knight 22 July 2012
By B S ROBINSON
I have now read all nine books of the Alec Fincham series and have thoroughly enjoyed them all, really recommend them as a good read. The detail that Roger goes into is impressive; both the story lines the locations and the weaponry. He has built up the main characters really well, I hope that we really have the likes of Alec, DJ Dougie and Mitch somewhere in the world taking care of the baddies!!
The ending of Queens Knight was neat and tidy and very romantic - I hope that there will be more to see where these people go.

Then look no further than the Alec Fincham series. Fincham is seconded to the Special Operation Department of M.I.6. as a man of last resort. Although he is part of the Special Boat Service, he takes his orders from Sir Charles Cunningham at Vauxhall Cross. He and his team are sent all over the world to protect the interests of the Crown and his Government.
There are currently nine books in the series, and a couple of short stories. Each is available for $1.00/£1.03, and I have included a word count on the description pages, so you know what you’re getting for your money.

There is another full novel to follow, Snake Variation, which should be out soon, and a novella (45000: words), Mongoose Variation on the way (just finished it and I’m arranging the editing).
Snake Variation take place during the Arab Spring, and fits the timeline of events as they actually happened. Could it be a version of the truth?
Mongoose Variation take Fincham back to chasing down Kristina von Priller (from Fried Fox), and he has to prevent a future world war.

Alec Fincham must take on an arms dealer in the worlds biggest ghost town.
Octopus Knight

So, the new novella is called Mongoose Variation.
In this one, Fincham has to stop a devastating attack and face off to an old nemesis.
It's available for 90p.

Take a look and why not pick up one of the Fincham novels while they're still at £1.03 each.

I’ve been writing and developing a set of stories based around the same characters. I refer to them as the Alec Fincham novels. Essentially, Fincham is a member of a small team from the Special Boat Service (like the US Navy SEALs).
They have been recruited to undertake any jobs that M.I.6. cannot finish themselves. Their boss, and Fincham’s long time friend, Sir Charles Cunningham heads up the Special Operations Department within M.I.6. and calls upon Fincham’s talents as required. Every nasty little job that come along, Fincham’s team have to tackle it straight on. From the Western Desert of Iraq, to the rainforests of Venezuela, you’ll (not) find him there.
Why not come along and meet the rest of Fincham’s crew in the novels and short stories that are available on Kindle:
The listings for the books above are in series order, although they don't nnecessarily need reading that way.
