But honestly that’s totally inaccurate. The whole ‘surprise, you’re not human’ thing- yes. But that is actually a very common plot for the beginning of a series. The continuation of the books after the first few chapters is completely different, in my opinion. They’re highly recommended books, and were my favorites for a good two years, until I read a ton more books over quarantine.
