The Accidental Vampire (Argeneau, #7) by Lynsay Sands
Book:The Accidental vampire
Rating:★★★★
Finished: 28/9/2012
Review:It was really funny in a silly way. As Elishia said you can't take it seriously. There are these two friend now 62 years old , one was turned accidentally to a vampire 5 years ago and looks like a 25 year old the other looks her age. They are not keeping her being a vampire a secret so two vampires from the council come to their small town to investigate . It turns out they are the life mates of these two women .Another 3 vampire come to town too and they find their life mates too , one is an 82 year old mortal woman :D you know what happens when they find their life mates!!!and the age doesn't matter 62 or 82 !!LOL, any way it was a delightful read!and the secondary characters were great.

link published in 2007 and fate mates

~Megan~ (megadee) Sadly, I've not been in the mood for the angels....I will be reading Moon Burning (A Children of the Moon, #3) by Lucy Monroe instead. It has the fated to be mated premise.

Sorry to pull a switcheroo on you, ShoSho!

I like them quite a lot! They're Highlanders AND werewolves....two things I love a great deal. Quick reads with a good bit of steam.

Melissa | 337 comments Ok I'm rushing right now to post this review. I just had to pick up my son from school. He was throwing up. I'll try and edit it later but I wanted to get it up and posted since I don't know when I'll get on again

Book: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass
Rating: 5 stars
Finished: 10/2/2012
Review:
This is about the 5th time I've read Alice's adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass all the way through. Each time is a joy and delight that is hard to describe. For this English Lit major the wordplay is a delight. Every time I read this book I discover something new. This time around I found myself wondering about the little door that Alice was too big to fit through. She clearly opens it but then when she shrinks it is closed and locked again...did she close and lock it? Hmmm.

I highly recommend that both adults and children read this book. It is fun and philosophical. I'll leave this review off with my all time favorite quote which happens to come from Alice's Adventures.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter."
Carroll, Lewis
