Does anyone know of a "Phrase Database" online, or something similar, to where we writers can keep track of the trends in lingo? For instance, if we use the wrong phrases for the wrong timeframe, especially with charater types in different age groups, we run the danger of appearing out of touch which can ruin our writing.

If there is no database, perhaps we could start one?

Abigail Sharpe (abigailsharpe) Dictionary.com tells when a word originated. You can also go to urbandictionary.com for modern slang.
