I just knew there would be a book that I want in the next 40 days :(
It is very tempting.
Sally906 wrote: "Only 65 tiny pages. Go on you know you want to :)"hahaha! Yes I certainly do want to but I'll see if I can hang out a bit more :)

Stay strong, Mish! I'm not giving anything up for Lent this year (although considering my GR addiction, maybe I should abstain from this website...!) but I have other years. So I can sympathise, and encourage you to stand firm!

Only those who want to be lured can be :)

Ooh, I don't agree - some temptations are very, very strong even if you don't want to give in!!
True Kathryn. I can virtuously ignore chocolate but put a packet of cheese and onion chippies in the cupboard and they're fair game. Resistance is futile. They are MINE!

Thanks Kathryn I'm doing okay. Staying strong :)
Nah, don't give up Goodreads. GR is a good addiction to have.

Brenda wrote: "Another one - Red Sand Sunrise by Fiona McArthur 25/6/14 (Rural Romance)"Brenda - you are not helping my bank balance! another one to add to by waiting to be released list!
Brenda wrote: "Another one - Red Sand Sunrise by Fiona McArthur 25/6/14 (Rural Romance)"Oh that one looks good.
But is it my imagination or is the girl on the front cover look very young? Can't possibly be me getting older ;)
its like when you go to the doctor and you think "are you old enough to be a doctor" then you know your getting old (or like me the other day - at a friends engagement party - asked her brother "are you still in school" and his like "I'm in my first year at Uni" (I remember baby sitting him before he even STARTED school - now I feel REALLY old!)I think I might have to buy myself a book to cheer me up

The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion on 24/9/2014 Can't wait!!"
Oh be still my beating heart!!! I am hanging out for this one!
In fact I have just hopped onto KOBO and preordered. Now I can relax and not stress about missing out :)I have an autistic grandson and The Rosie Project gave me hope for a normal life for him, and even if this new one is only half as good it will still be a damn good read :)
Brenda wrote: "The Untold by Courtney Collins 29/5/14 (Historical Fiction) (follow up to The Burial)"
Just letting everyone know that this new release is the exact same book as The Burial NOT a follow on. Mish was observant enough to pick this up so I did some checking and discovered she is right. But nowhere in all the places I checked did it say "originally titled The Burial" - how frustrating! I have been caught like this before!

Yes, I have actually bought books and then discovered that......oh no, I've already got this one!!! Grr
I totally agree, unless they put somewhere (noticeable) on the front cover to say what the original title was.
And that exact thing has happened to me Marianne! Wrong, wrong, wrong!!!
