Not much information about this one yet, but Jock Serong has a new novel Cherrywood coming out in September. The ‘darkly playful, intriguing and deeply meaningful story of history, community, wonder, love and reinvention’ is, according to publisher Catherine Milne, ‘worlds away from what Jock has written before’.

It sure does, Carolyn. The cover was revealed this past week. I’ve also read somewhere that it compares well with Cloud Atlas, which excites me no end.

Are there any Aussie author Christmas books this year? I want to choose my Christmas read early. Not fussed about the genre as long as it’s a Christmas theme. 🤗

Growing up in Sydney by Daniel Lo Surdo (Literary Fiction). Just finished reading, one of the best Australian debut novels I've ever read.
The first in a new series by Aussie authors Catherine Lee and Bill Duncan - The Collector - is releasing soon. (sorry don't know date yet) It's a new series starring FBI Special Agent Eden Cross.
One of my favourite Aussie Authors Lynette Noni has a new book coming out in autumn. Wandering Wild releases on 29th April in Australia and New Zealand (Goodreads has the USA release date of May 20th listed). Pretty sure this will be a stand-alone, and it is not connected to any of her existing series.
One of our favourite Aussie authors, Catherine Lee, has a new release coming out April 3rd, in collaboration with her new husband, Bill Duncan

Lara, seeing as this book is written by your dad, could you please go to the Author Spotlight section and create a new thread to promote the book? Thanks.

Just noticed that Toni Jordan has a new book coming at the end of August. Tenderfoot is set in 1970s Brisbane - sounds like a coming of age story (with greyhounds!!!)
