oh really? I enjoyed her first book, Sticks and Stones and this one looks to be a sequel though it's not noted as such yet on GR. I'll have to find out what the series is called first & fix that.

Definitely a non answer! So annoying when they do that! Perhaps you could insert at the top of the blurb in italics A sequel which can be read as a standalone or words to that effect!
