I agree, it’s on my Tbr list
Missing in Action: Australia's World War I Grave Services, an astonishing true story of misconduct, fraud and hoaxing by Marianne van Velzen 1/6/18 (Non Fiction/Australian War History)
Brenda wrote: "Out of Reach by Kendall Talbot 8/5/18 (Adventure/Romantic Suspense)"This looks good, I love her books - haven't heard of the publisher before though

No I haven't. Perhaps it's a self-pub with her own press - some authors do that :)

One of our mods might have more information on this but I read in the w'end papers that Markus Zusak has a new book coming out on 9th October, Bridge of Clay from Picador. His first since The Book Thief was published in 2005.
Finally!!!!! That's been on the to be published list for years Carolyn! Thanks - I'll see if I can find out some more :) Great news!
It looks like only Hardcover at the moment and 592 pages (PenguinUK site). A Young Adult novel as well.. It'll be good to get more information as we get closer to October :) Thanks again Carolyn!
It was in Stephen Romei's column. Not much more information except that Zusak was quoted as saying took quite a few attempts to write, but he loves it now and thinks it's 'big-hearted'. Sounds promising!
Brenda wrote: "The Desert Nurse by Pamela Hart 10/7/18 (Historical Fiction)"If this is anything as good as The Soldier's Wife I cannot wait for this one! Thanks Brenda. :)
Not sure if anyone has put this here or not, but I had to share this news when I saw it on my Twitter feed... Kate Morton has a new release in September this year!
The Clockmaker's Daughter is due to be released on the 12th September in Australia and New Zealand! :)
Why is every second book these days called "The .......'s daughter" or wife? Eventually all the titles will run together and we won't be able to recall which is which.

Because women buy the most books, and publishers want you to be in no doubt that there is a female protagonist in this one.
Phrynne wrote: "Why is every second book these days called "The .......'s daughter" or wife? Definitely do not want to read any more books with 'girl' in the title and getting that way with 'daughter'!

Took the word right out of my mouth, Mell!

Long before that, we had The Time Traveler's Wife and The Memory Keeper's Daughter
