Cypher Lx (cypherlx) | 51 comments I have a page on Facebook called Literature for Causes. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Literat...

I shared the links for this book there. I hope it helps get it more exposure.

Jay Howard (jay_howard) | 87 comments Have you seen Vic Heaney's book? Every penny goes to pancreatic cancer. It's a lovely quirky diary of a walk from his home in France to his original home town, Blackpool, arriving on his 70th birthday, and is worth the money for the book, never mind wanting to support this very worthy charity.

Randy Attwood (randyatwood) | 96 comments I donate $1 of every sale of "Crazy About You" to the Headquarters Counseling Center, Lawrence, KS. These folks work the suicide prevention hotline for my part of the country. Crazy About You

Thanks for adding Vic's book, Cypher. It's good to support GR authors as well as charities. Excellent idea, well executed - big thumbs up to you :)

Cypher Lx (cypherlx) | 51 comments Thanks, Jay. I came up with the idea because I figured I couldn't be the only author trying to support a cause through books sales. It turns out I was right and I'm glad I can help spread the word about those other books in some way.

Thanks for sharing this info Jay. I will definately check out his book. I think this is a great thread for authors to support each other in their efforts to raise money for their favorite charitable organization. I agree with your comment to also read and enjoy the book while doing a good deed.

What is your book link and the cause that you support Cypher? Please share so that we can all work together to support our favorite charities. Thank you again for adding my links to your facebook page.

I am very proud of you Cypher. Your generousity should be applauded. You give 50% which is wonderful.

I give $1.00 for each purchase, but in reality I am giving 50% too because I have my list price so low.

It is nice to meet other authors who are helping charities. Hopefully we can inspire fellow authors to follow our lead.

Best of luck to you and your charity!

Vic Heaney (vic_heaney) | 17 comments I now have two books in print and in e-book form on all major platforms. All proceeds of both books (and my forthcoming book) go directly to pancreatic cancer research:
