Count Off Challenge
I have a question.when a new challenge starts(like now),what should we do with the books that we're currently reading?should we count from the page we started on the same day as the challenge ?or we shouldn't count any page from these books at all?
Skena, you start from where you are in the book when the new challenge starts. So if you were on page 50 of a 150 page book, when finished you get to count the last 100 pages. You'll notice some will mark "in progress" on some books so they won't forget where they were when the challenge started.

oh oh! At the beginning of Dead to the World Sookie says she's 26 and it's dead of winter. We learned in a previous book that her birthday is in the summer. So I'm not sure if Dead Until Dark is before she's 26 or after, but Living Dead in Dallas, book 2, is in the fall, so she'd be 26 by then if she's 26 at christmas in this book. WOOHOO! Hey, I havn't been any competition for you guys in a long time. Y'all read so much faster than me. lol So I was so excited when in second paragraph of page 1 of Dead to the World Sookie says she's 26. And since I'm re-reading through the series again, I got alot more Sookie books coming up! hehe

I did very good today. I resisted the urge. lol I finally found the kitchen timer that hangs on a cord around your neck (to replace the kitchen timer my son broke) and it was at Amazon.com. And I didn't order any books! I tried to find it in a store locally but couldn't. Finally asked Christopher Kimball (of America's Test Kitchen) online in Twitter and he told me it was available at Amazon. (This way once something is baking in the oven, you can go anywhere you want and don't have to be in earshot of the timer in the kitchen as this hangs on a cord around your neck, or has a magnet on the back to attach it to the fridge.)Christine's Birthday Challenge
