Congratulations, Christine!! And I just finished a Harry Potter book last week!Dee, what did you buy at Audible besides City of Bones? I bought a couple yesterday since it was obvious the end was near - a J.D. Robb and an M.C. Beaton that I paid for, and 4 others that weren't on sale but still only cost one credit each so it didn't matter - got Northern Lights, books 3 & 4 in Louise Penny's Inspector Gamache series, and a thriller for my hubby. *actually, he'll listen to all of the above except the M.C. Beaton*

I had 5 credits on my account, so the sum total for all 11 was $65...so about $6 a book...not a bad deal - I applied the credits to the ones which were either not on sale, or the sale price exceeded what I pay for credits

just when I think I start to catch Christine ;)
lol, at least I will gain a little, the book I am reading now has a bit of magic in it.
Mine are all chunky chunksters, but after this next one, Eclipse, I then have to wait on the library's waiting list for the fourth, Breaking Dawn. I'm first on the waiting list and they said it was due back this week. I'm fourth on the waiting list for the novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella. I do have the unofficial fifth book, Midnight Sun. I've got the first chapter off the author's official website of 24 pages. And I have the unofficial one, a rough draft of an unfinished book floating around the web (and available on the GRs link above) that's 264 pages. I was curious to read the first chapter of both to see if there were any differences.
Ugh. Breaking Dawn. *headdesk*I'm going to need to be just shy of drunk in order to make it through that movie.
I have no idea what to expect with these. I wasn't even sure I'd like them. I've given them 3 stars so far because I'm compelled to keep reading wanting to know what happens but find some of it just absurd or something won't add up or make sense. Yet... I keep reading wanting to know how it ends. lol I've never seen the movies. So.... ssshhh, don't give anything away. :)
I won't, I promise. It seems like people who are able to read all 4 rather quickly, like BD. But for those of us who waited for the 4th book's release, it was... ugh.So, you probably won't have the same reaction that I do.
yeah, it seems that people either love BD or hate it, not really much in the middle with that one, never noticed that as a possible reason why a difference. - interested to know what you think Kate.
