I might. I had to get one PNR anthology Bite to get the Sookie #5.1 book. If I win this challenge, I'll get some used books to get the rest of the series and the other anthologies for the other sookie novella's. Of course, can't own the book and read just a tiny bit of it. lol I love the humor in the sookie books, so I don't how well I'd like other PNR until I try it.

Can't say what other PNR series are like Sookie as far as tone. I read the Bite antho, so that might be the one Sookie story I read and liked as well.

So do you think you are going to finish? I'm nearly finished with my 7th book, so I might get one more done! Just couldn't cross-challenge my PNR books this month

I doubt it. I have 350 pages left in Blood Lite and 250 left in Bite. I'll finish one but not both. I didn't have a lot of cross challenge books either this month. I made sure that almost every book for April is part of at least 2 challenges since my reading time is significantly reduced as soon as the warmer weather hits.

I have 4 Sookie books left. I've got 3 now (1 is over half read) and one left on reserve at the library. That could come in at any time. One came in early today and I went to pick it up.

It's nearing midnight and in the latest Sookie novel there is a vampire ball. A vampire band is about to strike up so that the dancing can begin. I went to my computer and hit play on an old Oingo Boingo's song, It's a Dead Man's Party". ROFL! ;)
As I listen I'll now continue reading about what happens at the vampire ball. hehe

Yes, she probably will. I need another 384 pages and she only needs another 56 pages.
When I went to the library to pick up a book on hold that had come in, I went up to pick out an audiobook for my long car drive tomorrow. They have several Sookie books but the only audio in was "Dead as a Doornail". So between the drive to drop the kids off tomorrow and picking them backup again on tuesday, I'll have enough time to listen to the entire book. Will be different hearing it vs reading it. :)
