I loved this book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I really recommend it.

Patricia, have you finished reading those four christmas books/anthologies? With page counts doubled, your total is 3196 pages. You only need 2500 pages to win.
Kat: That is fine. You can use the page count on e-books that are only sold in e-book format. There is the option of counting pages from the printed edition for other formats. Such as e-books and audio books.
But since you only have the one option of the e-book being sold in one format. Its OK to use the e-book page count. Thanks for asking =D

The ones I listed above were all free reads (either currently available or previously listed) that were from Wild Rose Press, except Silver Bells. Quite a few of those above are historical romances with some contemporary. I save up christmas stories to read in Dec and like Patricia have alot of holiday themed anthologies. Sometimes I'll read the whole anthology and sometimes just one novella at a time.
Oh, Ok. That's a good idea =D. I use novella's for challenges when I am running low on time. But I do like the idea of getting them free from the site. Thanks!

This one was not as good as the previous ones, but still much better than average. My biggest problem here is that Amelia did a lot of whining about 'maybe' being betrayed by the love of her life. It was just too contrived for me.

Partial count, page count, total count...what's it all mean?The guidelines are simplified "rules" of what I used when I started my book diet. I wanted to use as many of the tools as possible to keep the challenge easy.
Partial counts= Instead of counting the books pages from start to finish during a challenge. You count partially. When to use them? When you start the book in a NEW challenge. If the book is unfinished before the next challenge, then the remaining pages can be counted once the book is FINISHED in the next challenge. Why? If start a new challenge with,say, 5 unfinished books and are partially counting the pages then the page count will be off. But if you are to wait until the book is finished, not only have you successfully removed another book from the TBR pile to READ but your page counts will add up higher. It sounds confusing but its not. Simply remember that we all reset to zero with all new challenges. All new books can be counted partially. Unfinished booked that have been partially counted must be finished to be counted.
