Book Credit from previous challenge win. 2 [n:] OR 3 [u:]Got 2 of 3 [u:]
Five in a Row v Jan Coffey
Poison Study v Maria V. Snyder
BG: I actually remember you reading it and when I saw it at my bookstore I work at for 50 cents I said what the hey. LOL. I am not a huge fan of historical fiction but any unique story can wrap me up in the story. I won't know when I can get to it but I am glad I bought it.
Used my book credits from the previous challenge - I chose the '3 new' option because I've had books sitting in my Cart for what seems ages! And I used Amazon's '4-books-for-3 deal, so here's what I got:Shadowlight A Novel of the Kyndred by Lynn Viehl (I've been waiting for this one!
Tempt Me at Twilight by Lisa Kleypas
Dark Curse by Christine Feehan
Covet (Fallen Angels) by J. R. Ward (strange - this one doesn't show up on the add book option)
Looks like I'd better find the Study series so I know what you gals are talking about!
Guess I'll have to stop by Goodwill and see if I can find some Kate-style bargains!!
Good luck bargain hunting BJ. Depends on what people in your area read as to what you'll find. I can find very little that isn't mainstream fiction or romance. The Study books aren't sold in the only bookstore in town, and can't be found at the used bookstore of the library either. I got Poison Study as a Harlequin Teen Review book for my son and bought the next two in the series used off Amazon.com's used marketplace.

The sellers there so far have been remarkably prompt and honest in description.
Only once did I get a book off amazon's used marketplace that I didn't think should be considered "good" but "acceptable". Usually, they're all fine and I don't have a problem with them.
Kenjii wrote: "BJ: Lynn V.'s new series 'looks' good. I have know idea what its about but I like the cover, lol. "So far as I know, it's really an extension of her previous series, which I loved. I'm looking forward to reading it, but I'm forcing myself to read my October Challenge books first - unless I get impatient and replace something else with this!
edited: had to go look at the book to 'catch' your comment about the cover - Yummy!!

I came on this thread to post my last two books and discovered your win, so I'll just keep reading the book I picked up last night while you're planning a new challenge.
Hope you're feeling better SOON! Is the pneumonia part of/result of the swine flu? Nothing like hitting you when you're already down.
I;ll give Jane a few hours to post. She may be back to bed again [sick:]. Then I'll post a challenge.

Thanks BJ. It could be as a result of Swine flu or it could be that I had Pneumonia all along and was misdiagnosed with Swine Flu ! I'm having good days and bad but getting alot of reading done snuggled up under a nice warm duvet.

Not to be silly, but how does the "cherry blossom tree" challenge work? Do we just have to as many books as it takes to reach 1250 pages or more? Then, Also, when you "unfinished" can we include any books that we're currently reading? Then.... last question I swear :), can the books we've chosen for the TBR before 2010 challenge be used as part of this? Sorry about all the questions. I just want to participate, and be sure I get it right. Thanks!!
Hi Michelle: To answer your questions:how does the "cherry blossom tree" challenge work?
I started naming the challenges to make it easier to track from later/earlier posts.
Do we just have to as many books as it takes to reach 1250 pages or more?
You count the page front and back. So counting a page means counting each page in a books. Just getting 4 books at 300 pages doesn't always work b/c most books have a title page, review pages and normally don't start until page 9-10[which would equal 1-2 when counting pages:].
Then, Also, when you "unfinished" can we include any books that we're currently reading?
Unfinished or currently reading books can only be counted once you have FINISHED the book.
can the books we've chosen for the TBR before 2010 challenge be used as part of this? Sorry about all the questions.
I suppose? LOL. I think anything you read [books, e-books:] that you can count the pages will count, during the current challenge.
You can ask any and all questions so that you count correctly and earn credit. READ THE FIRST POST FOR COMPLETE GUIDELINES. Just so you can understand how we play. If you have more questions after that then by all means, ask =D!

Thanks Kenjii! I hope to post my books tonight. I just reread my post, and I'm thinking what's wrong with me with all the missing words and such and realized that's what I get for being glued to the soap opera network, lol!
LOL Michelle: I think I got the gist of your questions. Glad to have you aboard the challenge. The Cherry Blossom challenge just started so your good.
My books for the Cherry Blossom Tree Challenge are:The Scent of Shadows The First Sign of the Zodiac by Vicki Petterson
Daughter of the Blood by Anne Bishop
Heir to the Shadows by Anne Bishop

At the moment, my problem is finding something I feel like reading. I'm not motivated to pick anything up right now.
