I should love to read this, but feeling completely overwhelmed with books at the moment. Don't include me for now, but I may pin this one down in a few months time.
What a great book. I read it again just for the group read. Love the way one can take something so simple as a umbrella and turn it into something different but the same. China was creativy when creating the world of UnLondon and all its inhabitants! Would love to read more books like this one and my boys would love to hear them.
I read 100 pages of this book, but really wasn't enjoying it, so am not planning on finishing it. I have too many other books on my shelf begging to be read.
I too didn't enjoy the first 50 or so pages. it seems childish & imaginary but I stuck it out til the end, finishing it this morning. The UnLunDun abcity pans out to be so similar to London but so completely different. It's so creative taking every day objects and transforming them, like the umbrellas and one of my faves Webminster Abbey
