lol I should stop rubbing it in, but it's 85 degrees right now (at 5:30!) and the AC is on...I bought cute new boots and I haven't been able to wear them yet!

Yes, please stop rubbing it in Kelly.Although...it's supposed to be back up into the 50s this weekend here.
haha Kelly..honestly..the only reason I actually enjoy winter is because of all the cute boots I own. :)
Hopefully you will get to wear them soon! I have an idea. How about I'll give you a week of this weather and you give me a week of your weather!?

i wear shorts and t-shirt year round, sometimes a sweater with the shorts but thats it.... i am not cold ever
nice 4 degrees my kind of weather
lol Jamie I'd take it! Seriously...but just for a week! I guess we have bipolar weather here because I got to wear my boots tonight.
Hooray! You got to wear your boots! :)
It's just be straight rain for a few days here. I'm ready for snow at this point just so the rain will cease.

I hear Edmonton was the second coldest inhabited place on Earth a couple days ago. My cousin lives there and said he hasn't left the house in 3 days because of the weather.

Oh man. I should stop complaining about it being in the 20's & 30's then! I would never last there!

We're supposed to get that same snow tomorrow night into sunday.. 6-12 inches. I'm not excited for it really, although I've got nothing to do this weekend so sitting inside watching the snow & christmas movies would be nice. I just hope there isn't a parking ban because I haven't gotten my new parking permit yet so there are limited places for me to leave my car.
we are supposed to get 3-5 from the storm that is gonna be moving up the east coast, but our forecast changed alittle bit, because on radar the snow has arrived and is supposed to falling tomorrow morning and will last into the night hours, i am a little nervous, but this is not my first snowstorm driving experience, i think that i made about 5 or 6 trips through a few major snowstorms... so it looks like i might have to leave early from work tomorrow and drive home, on the interstate and up the mountain home. Its gonna be a blast trying to get from point A to point B in the snowy mess. My cousin lives in Long island Ny and i heard that he might get up to a foot or more.

well there might be a parking ban inforced so that the snow plows can do their job, i have the same where i live, so i just park my car in the driveway rather than by the mailbox area, because that is where the snow trucks have to do their job

They have similar rules here. In the city I live in you can't park on the street overnight between November and April.
It has been so cold here lately! Usually around this time of the year it gets up to the low 30's during the day. It's 14 degrees outside right now.
its windy today wind chill of -3
nah, i went out today to get the mail and it kinda felt like -10 but not too bad, my highest shorts wearing weather is -8 on my way to work at 4am
We had an 85 degree Christmas, yesterday was 30 degrees and now it is almost 70. I hate Florida! Make up your mind!
Kelly wrote: "We had an 85 degree Christmas, yesterday was 30 degrees and now it is almost 70. I hate Florida! Make up your mind!"lol. We have a saying here, "If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes." Sounds like it could be applied to where you live too.
We got a ton of snow last night. I woke up at 3 and there wasn't any new snow. When I got up for work this morning at 6 we had about 6 inches of snow on the ground!
everyone says i am insane, but if you grew up in russia then you would know what it is like to live in a cold environment and maybe you would get used to it:)
I've had friends that grew up here and then were in Russia for a couple of years, from what I've heard it's really cold! They have to buy special coats and everything, because the ones they make here aren't really suitable.
my kind of weather!!! no offense

haha. We could definitely use that saying here, usually applying to rain though.
I have a friend from Russia too, and when it's about 40 outside he walks around in shorts and calls it 'a bit chilly out.' lol I can't understand that.
In more ridiculous Florida weather, it's going to be 20 degrees tomorrow.
I am in London, Ontario. I am used to the snow but were being hit with a bad snow storm right now. We have not had any sort of power failure as of yet. I went to a party last night and they didn't have power but we think it was caused by a car accident. We had snow/rain and now we just have a lot of snow. I am glad we don't have to pay for heat in our apartment, we have been turning it up, the cats are loving it because they can lay on the heaters and look out at the snow.
Is anyone else here from Canada that is snowed in?
Ok, I realize that I have posted a lot on this thread for some reason, but this one can't go unnoticed. It snowed today. In central Florida. My roommates calls it 'end of the world type weather.'
Seriously?

Well if it can snow in central Florida, maybe it will in central California too!! haha. (I realize my logic doesn't make sense but I can hope. :P )
I think the last time it snowed, at least that I can remember, was in the early '90s....before I lived here.I used to live in southern/central California, and can never fathom snow! Of course I thought that here too...crazier things have happened!
It's snowed here, twice in my life. But I live pretty close to the Sierra Nevadas.... It snows at low elevations every once in a while. I was just in LA friday to visit my cousin who just moved there. It was between 70-80 degrees all day. It was so nice! But I don't think I could live that far away from a ski resort lol
I've never seen it snow properly. The one time I did, we had an arctic cold wave and it only lasted for 30 mins or less - and melted as soon as it reached the ground. I hope to see snow when in Paris. It's so rainy here right now, my part of the city is nearly traffic-blocked. Very little buses, some floodings. I'm pretty much stuck home.
i hear its going to warm up alittle bit in Pa, so a little break from the bitter freezing cold
I'm so happy! It's supposed to get up into the 60s next week. I'm betting we'll hit 70 at some point in the next few weeks...and then plummet back down to the 20s, possibly getting another bit of snow. Thank you, Oklahoma.
We got rain and thunderstorms here in the Bay Area. Supposed to get a break this weekend. I cannot wait until the Summer.
oh great thats when my semster playoffs end, may 14... great way to end it huh? yea, its above normal here... but might get cold maybe next week...
You can tell when we're getting out of a cold spell. lol. It's in the low 30's and most the students I see on campus aren't even wearing coats. After averaging 12 degrees for several weeks, 34 feels really warm.
We haven't had a good snowfall for weeks. All that's left is old, dirty snow and mud. It's rather depressing. I'm hoping we get a good snow fall this week. :)
The weather here has been insane. (Although for Utah it isn't too unusual).Last Monday it was so warm that I wore a skirt to work. It was about 62 and beautiful outside. Then on Wednesday it started snowing. Thursday morning we woke up to 2 inches of snow. By the end of the day all of the snow was gone. Today it's raining and in the 30's, and it's supposed to get up to the 60's by Thursday.
Holy hell! That would drive me nuts!
It was nice for like 3 days here and then we had almost a week of cold rainy weather and now it's been real nice since about Thursday. It's been so hot out! I like hot weather so I can't complain! Hopefully you will get some nice weather soon!

The weather is absolutely gorgeous here, sunny, but not hot, and nice and breezy.Unfortunately, we've only got about a month of it left before it becomes 95 degrees and absolutely miserable until September.
