Yes, I am enjoying it MUCH better!!! It's just longer. I am hoping to get lots of reading time tonight.

Sorry, about your computer! That reminds me I need to start backing up our hard drive. We would be in trouble if we lost ours.

Book: Untraceable (Tracers, #1) by Laura Griffin
Completed: 9.21.12
Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Review: Alex is a private invetigator that assists clients in having a new life by besically making sure they are "off the map". Her last case was helping Melanie Coghan disappear, she was an abused wife of a Austin police officer. Alex has reason to believe that Melanie is in trouble, and could possibly be dead. She seeks out Nathan Deveraux, a Austin homicide detective to assist her. Nathan doesn't actually believe there is a case, because there is no dead body. He's hung out with Melanie's husband and doesn't believe that the man would hurt his wife. Alex is too caught up in "the case", and she gets hurt. Will she find out what happened to Melanie? This was a good book, it kept me reading trying to guess what will happen next.

I think its mentioned in the book somewhere too, but wondering about the cover.

But I think this will be the book I read. I think this will take down three other items but since my list is lost to my dead computer, I think I have a hard copy somewhere at home which I will look to make sure tonight.

Skinwalker (Jane Yellowrock, #1) by Faith Hunter

○Book: Skinwalker by Faith Hunter
○Completed: 9.20.12
○Rating: *****
○Review: I liked this book a lot. The main character is a native american skinwalker, so I was comparing this story to Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series. This book was a lot darker, the vampires were not as friendly. I didn't care for the dialogue when she was in skinwalker form, but that's alright. I still gave it 5 stars!

OMG why do I have to wait 2 years for the last book to come out. The world can't end cause I have to see what is going to happen to Clary and Jace lol. This book had me hooked from page one. I love the twist and turns in the book. I can't wait to see how it ends.

People: Warrior - Hero is in the military.

Places: Shoreline - On the Cover.

This is the fourth book in the Maya Banks KGI series involving one of the youngest Kelly, Nathan who is captured in Afghanistan and in the moments he is contemplating giving up, he hears the heroine, Shea in his head. Shea has telepathic abilities and she feels Nathan's pain. She helps to get him free, but she is on the run from people who want to exploit her abilities and that of her sister, Grace. Nathan and Shea have an instant connection and I love both of them. Nathan isn't as much of an alpha hero than his older siblings that we read about, but definitely still an alpha hero. He definitely has a protective streak a mile wide when it comes to Shea. Shea is all of Bank's heroine in the series are strong, resilient, and kind with no stupid heroine moments that will make the reader shake their heads. In short, the characters are lovable. Strong family dynamics, Alpha heroes that are not jerks, heroines that have inner strength to stand up to the heroes. I worried about the paranormal twist in a romantic suspense genre, but the author pulled it off perfectly, the book just seemed to flow, Nathan and Shea falling for each other was seamless and their passion for each other that the readers just came along for the ride. One of the reason, I didn't give this book a perfect 5 stars was that the Nathan and Shea reiterated their feelings for each other again and again. To me, it felt like the author was trying hard to convince the readers of Nathan and Shea's feelings for each other, but Nathan and Shea had a great connection that the reader understood already and could go without the repeat. This book has whet my apetite to read the next book soon since it covers Shea's sister Grace and another alpha hero, Rio.

Book: Forever and a Day (Lucky Harbor, #6) by Jill Shalvis
Completed: 9.26.12
Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Review: Grace was adopted at birth by a rocket scientist and a well-respected research biologist. They have always told Grace that she needed to achieve high. All her life, she's been trying to please her parents by choosing a career that she wasn't so sure that she wanted. One day she lost her job and was driving to look for a new one when she ended in Lucky Harbor. Josh is a doctor who has no time for a personal life, he owns his dad's practice and also works at the hospital in the ER. He called for dog walking services one day, which she accepted. She started babysitting his son too, when his nanny quit last minute. They are both attracted to each other, but they have a lot of issues to work through before they can live happily ever after together.

This was a great book and series. Jill Shalvis is one of my favorite authors. This is a must read series!
