Make time for it! Relic and reliquary are okay, but the third one is Cabinet of Curiosities (love love love it)...Oh and read Thunderhead between Reliquary and Cabinet... It doesn't have Pendergast but does have Smithback and introduces Nora Kelly (who joins the Pendergast series) and it's a really good book too.
