Please delete this book! (pt. 13)

I *think* this book can be deleted --
This book was added by a Goodreads user. WorldCat only shows one physical version of the book, which is here (originally with the author's name incorrect).
Thanks!

And a question: Should these no-ISBN single-issue comics be merged into the bound edition with the ISBN, or are they acceptable since they're ebooks?

As for the comic's I'll leave that one alone since I don't think single comics belong on here full stop but there is "do not delete" if found but do not encourage addition policy. I would merge in to the full edition

You would have the same issue with Manga. They are technically all their own book in a series. If they have their own unique ISBN they should stay seperate, right? In this case, I think the ISBN's are just missing.

This is a audio version of the book. You accept them too here?
Thanks!

I also wondered if the ISBNs were just missing given that they're ostensibly recent ebook releases, but I didn't manage to find any info on them, so... *shrugs*

That's for me? I dont't want it delete. I was just asking if goodreads accept audio books too :)

Yes we do except audiobooks

No you wouldn't. Comic Books are serialized as weekly issues that are not printed with an ISBN number, and are not encouraged on Goodreads. Manga (though often serialized weekly in Japan) is usually published as a book with an ISBN. When Comic serials are bound together as a trade paperback they are given an ISBN number.

I actually don't think these are ebooks, but the original serialized comics. I can't find anything online that says V for Vendetta has been released as an eComic - though it's possible the person who added them to the database added them as an eBook because they torrented a .cbr file, which is basically an .epub version of a comic book, but it's most likely a scanned version that wasn't officially released by Vertigo or DC.
I personally leave comic books alone, but I suspect these wouldn't fit into the Goodreads definition of a "book."

Can someone please delete this edition of Bankvlees http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/27... as it is identical to the other edition mentioned.
Thanks!

Last I read, we weren't deleting those yet.

No leaving it on the list provides a clue to the book that the 2 users who have the book maybe able to use to rescue it

I have separated all the other editions, will re-combine them later.
Thanks

The author however does have a book coming in November that should be added: http://www.amazon.com/Read-Client-Acr...

As for adding the other book, we can't use Amazon data (and this isn't the right thread for add requests, anyway).

As far as I can tell, they can only be found on Fanfiction.net and not as ebooks, but since my librarian status is new and I've never ever NABbed a book, I thought I'd ask.

Fanfiction can stay unless the author asks for its removal. (Or legal issues come up, of course.)

"Goodreads' mission is to help people find and share books they love."
There are plenty of fan fiction and e-fiction sites on the Internet. I truly don't understand the purpose of clogging up a site about books with things that clearly aren't books. The people "publishing" their fanfics and selling them as books are bad enough.
