Woohoo Team!! Nice to meet you Skandia & Kat. I'm a veteran from the last round so any questions, feel free to ask me!

We have two tasks before we get started: deciding on a name and picking a captain! (the captain will request the stamps once we are ready.)

I could be the captain BUT I'll be on vacation a good chunk of August so if we're still playing (which could happen), then I won't be in a position to request shelves promptly (which we might need by the end.)

Oh OK...I realized I should have introduced myself. I'm D.G., 35, married (no children) and I live in NYC. I'm Dominican by birth but I've been leaving in the US for around 13 years.

Reading is my main hobby so I'm around here A LOT. :)

Prime 17 (17 is a prime number...I like this idea of using prime but not sure if I like this name!)

Nice to met you D.G., the names Kat and I live in Nova Scotia,Canada I'm 36 and currently unattached,I have no children but I have 2 spoiled rotten dogs that are worse then kids I'm beginning to think...lol. I'm not sure I'm up to the task of being team captian as I'm a newbie to BSB :)

Nice to meet you all! I'm Skandia, 42 , I'm originally from Estonia and now I share my time between California and Estonia. I'm married, have one child and I love to read. I read almost any genre there is but non-fiction. My job includes a lot of reading any kind of boring serious legal-business style materials, so for my free time I like a good light fiction reads.

I like Spicy 17, good name! As I travel a lot and it's my first Bingo, I guess I'm not a good team captain material this round.

I'm originally from South Africa but have been living in Israel for the last 25 years. I'm an English lit lecturer so reading is both my hobby and livelihood. For me, books are food for the soul.

I love all the team name suggestions but I'm leaning toward Smokin 17 or Spicy 17. Not sure about being captain as its my first time playing and I'm already a bit overwhelmed.

The first time I played, I think I was the only newbie in my team (Hello Twisted Steph!) but now unless Jackie also has played in the past, I'll be the only veteran!

I am Jackie and I am from the US and live in Minnesota. I am 38, married and have 3 kids all girls. My kids are 20, 8, and 4 so my life is very interesting lol. I also work full time so there may be times when I don't check in right away but don't worry I always have my book read before the week is over.

This will be my 5th round of Bingo and I can't wait to get started. My advice to the new players is to make sure to read the free space read right away(when the game starts) so you won't have to worry about it down the road.

I stink at coming up with names but do like Spicy 17 and Sultry 17.

D.G. if you want to go ahead and be captain I could sub for you when you are on vacation in August. I sometimes work some funky hours so I may not be able to captain full time.

Word! My last team was great but a few members didn't get the free space read. Luckily that wasn't the reason we didn't win (the necessary shelves just didn't come up) but it could have. :)

I've been going over my TBR piles and going through shelves to see if anything is matching up and so far I have 3 choices for each shelf to choose from. I've been lurking the last 4 rounds and finally decided this was my time to play, I can't wait !!

I need to pick out a free space book still. The only painful thing about bingo is my bank account takes a hit, but that's. okay maybe I will actually get some reading done on my kindle instead of playing games on it.

I just updated my kobo Vox reader and was so excited to see that I now can get apps from google so I now have all my favorite apps to go to now for reading, Kindle,Sony and GR of course ,it's so nice to have all my books on one device...yay!

Kat, I considered Spellbound Falls, too.

I read Delirium recently. It was a good dystopian story and I'm not a very big fan of this genre but Lauren Oliver's writing style is very enjoyable.

I really liked Delirium but then hated book #2 (but I seem to be in the minority.)

Love the Immortals After Dark Series. Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night is excellent!

I like the idea of spelling out the number 17.
