Have you read Garth Stein's Art of Racing in the Rain? Not exactly funny, but Enzo is a dog worth knowing.

I had to do it...I wrote a protest novel in respects to the political arena in the US. "Presidential Purchase, a President's Confession" is a novel containing corruption, greed, and lies. The ending may surprise you, as I don't see it happening this election, but it's a wish!

If you like to read books with exceptional dogs try James Rollins books with Tucker and his war dog Kane. Kane is a dog we would love to have around us. Smarter than a fifth grader.

Matt’s always been good at being bad. If he’s good enough now, he gets a big payday with the promise of more to come. But one slip in his cover, one wrong word from any of the sketchy characters surrounding him, could hand Matt a return trip to jail...or a long sleep in a shallow grave.

When all through the White House not an Obama was stirring, though one was quite soused; the stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that a politically correct Santa soon would be there.
The Trumps were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of Washington danced in their heads; and Melania in her kerchief and Donald in his cap had just settled their brains with a strong night cap; when out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, they sprang from their bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window they flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, gave a luster of midday to the objects below, when, what to their wondering eyes should appear but Vladimir Putin with a six pack of beer; with a little old driver so nimble and spry, that I knew in a minute it was old Nikolai. More rapid than eagles more well-wishers came and Donald whistled and shouted and called them by name: Now, Ivanka! now, Ivana! now, Eric and Don! On, Newt! on, Mitt! Chris Christie and Ron! To the front of the White House and over the wall, now, Dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricanes fly, when they meet with an obstacle, the harder they try, so up to the White House these Republicans flew, with a mouthful of joy and Nikolai, too.
And then in a twinkling Michelle heard on the roof the prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As Barack drew in his head and was turning around, down the chimney Donald Trump came with a bound. He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot, yet not a single trace of ashes or soot? A bundle of documents he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf and Michelle laughed when she saw him in spite of herself. A wink of his eye and a twist of his head soon gave Barack to know he had nothing to dread. He spoke not a word but went straight to his work, and dispelled all the rumors then turned with a jerk and laying his finger aside of his nose and giving a nod up the chimney he rose. He sprang to his copter, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ere they flew out of sight,
