Beth Well, my last update in this thread was in July, so I thought I'd post my current news. I just mailed off the corrected galley proofs for Deadly Currents Deadly Currents (An RM Outdoor Adventures Mystery, #1) by Beth Groundwater , and as you can see, I have cover art for the book, plus the ARCs (advance review copies) have gone out to reviewers. The pub date is still the first week of March, and I have blurbs from William Kent Krueger, Margaret Coel, Sandi Ault, and Nancy Pickard. I'm really started to get excited about the release of the first book in my Rocky Mountain Outdoor Adventures mystery series starring whitewater river ranger Mandy Tanner. Here's hoping I get at least one good review!

In other writing news, I turned in the manuscript for the second book in the series, WICKED EDDIES, due out in Spring, 2012, and I'm in the midst of writing the third book in my Claire Hanover gift basket designer mystery series. I'm not letting any grass grow under my writing chair!

message 160: by Tracey (new)

Tracey Alley (traceya) Hi all,
As most of you probably know I'm the author of The Witchcraft Wars trilogy. Erich's Plea and Ursula's Quest are here for sale at the moment for only $1.99 to celebrate the pre-release of the final in the trilogy, Slade's Destiny. I've also got some short stories relating to the characters and history of The Witchcraft Wars series and even an anthology of poetry.
Come Christmas I'm releasing a series of children's books but that will initially only be in Australia.

So that's my shameless plug for my work - and even other people have said it was pretty good :)

Novels
Erich's Plea
Ursula's Quest

Short stories
A Very Hairy Adventure
An Unholy Encounter

Cheers,
Trace

Bradley Convissar (bconvisdmd) | 12 comments Some one asked me to write a piece of flash horror, but I have a hard enough time keeping short stories under 5,000 words, let alone 1,000 words. But I tried, and the result was "As Seen on Craig's List", though it is closer to 1,500 words than 1,000, but good enough for me. One day it may be fleshed out into a full short story or novella. But anyway, check it out at feedbooks(search for Brad C DMD) or under my own writing section under my profile. Hope you enjoy.

Russell Brooks (russellbrooks) Hi, Rick. I don't like to boast, but my debut thriller, Pandora's Succession, is out right now through the Amazon Kindle store (US and UK) for $2.99 (2.16 Pounds) (To be released in other formats soon).

Where would you hide if you learned the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and a major pharmaceutical company unleashed a hyperdeadly microbe on the human race?

Fans of The Bourne Identity won't want to pass this one up. Reviews are up right now on Goodreads and on Amazon.

I think the name will make parents, if not the kids, pick up your books and point them out to their youngsters. Good luck!

Steve Anderson | 63 comments Thanks for this thread, Rick. I don't know how you find the time, but it sure makes Goodreads all the better. My novels are:

The Losing Role | historical, espionage, thriller
In the last winter of World War II a German actor is forced into a desperate secret mission and must impersonate an enemy American officer, but he'll use his false identity to escape tyranny and war. Paperback coming soon!

Besserwisser: A Novel | humor, satire, mystery
An American expat in Munich poses as a top Hitler scholar to impress a girl and soon thinks he's stumbled onto a shocking historical discovery that's made him the target of a wannabe Neo-Nazi and shady Russian mafia.

False Refuge | crime, noir, thriller
US Army reservist Alex Swenson goes AWOL in Hawaii, only to find he must fight and escape from the very same secretive, corrupt organization that had promised to harbor him and give him a new life.

All are available for Amazon Kindle and most e-readers. I hope you'll have a look, and see you around Goodreads and here in Mr Mason's fine club.

Happy reading,
Steve
