Christine Last October I published a memoir, Dancing in Heaven, about the life and death of my sister Annie who was born with severe brain damage yet lived to be 51 years old, greatly exceeding doctors' expectations.

Dancing in Heaven has been described as:
"beautifully conceived and beautifully written"
"a gripping read"
"touching and inspirational"
"very courageous, brave writing"

Robert (booklover_83) | 31 comments I have started a brand new project. It is a novella called "Ghostly Revelations" and I am hoping to get it out late this year or early next year. I am also prepping for NanoWrimo in November early so I can do the 30 day challenge it presents this year. My ultimate goal is to get published by the time I am 30 so I have a bit over a year.

The Description for Ghostly Revelations:

A gruesome murder, a guilty ghost and a family that unknowingly gets caught in a mystery they cannot solve on their own. Mark’s wife was brutally murdered and now years later, burdened by guilt he dies too. A family moves in and that is when the scares start. One medium, a couple, and a couple ghosts who have a secret of their own. Enter the house full of Ghostly Revelations

Rick, I echo your "best of wishes and sales". But, there's always a but in my inquiring mind, I would like to know what sales follow your offer of free books. As we all know every reader will take advantage of a free book. Can (will) anyone report on their sales figures as a result of the free-book-project? Please don't be offended, this is a business question.

Minnie, this is the first time I've offered my book for free and, I have to say, I was somewhat leery about doing it.

Like you, I'm curious to see what, if any, sales follow afterward. I'm hoping those readers who have already taken advantage of the offer will post reviews on Smashwords and Goodreads and maybe someone else will be intrigued and interested enough to buy my book. *fingers, toes and eyes crossed*

Sterling Gate Books (sterlinggatebooks) | 12 comments The Amazon Kindle edition of our historical adventure-romance Fiji is FREE until Monday March 12 PST.

My co-writer/son James Morcan and I have recently put this new release novel into development as a feature film through our production co., Morcan Motion Pictures. Readers agree it will make a wonderful movie.

Set in 19th Century Fiji, it is “a spellbinding novel of adventure, cultural misunderstandings, religious conflict and sexual tension set in one of the most exotic and isolated places on earth”.

In the mid-1800's, Fiji was a melting pot of cannibals, warring native tribes, sailors, traders, prostitutes, escaped convicts and all manner of foreign undesirables. It's in this hostile environment in our story that an innocent young Englishwoman and a worldly American adventurer find themselves. Despite their differences, there’s an undeniable chemistry between them. When their lives are suddenly endangered by marauding cannibals, they are forced to rely on each other for their very survival.

More reviews are welcomed for this mainly 5-star reviewed novel!

Mike Meyer | 103 comments I published my fourth book today. I hope you enjoy it. I thank you for your interest in my writing.

James Cuffy, better known as Cuff, is living in paradise with his girlfriend, on the small Caribbean island of St. Croix, where the sky is as blue as Cuff’s eyes, the ocean as pretty as Rosie’s cheeks, where the gentle lapping of the waves is a lullaby, and the swaying of the palm trees is a dance. The sandy beaches are as white as sugar, and the horizon is a world away. St. Croix indeed is paradise, the perfect place for living, laughing, and loving.

But the sandy beaches and the turquoise sea can provide no cover from the deadly eyes of the unknown stalker pursuing Cuff. Murder leads to murder as he attempts to untangle the terrible web in which he has suddenly become entangled.

The twists and turns are relentless, the roads of the fast action leading in all directions, but time is running out, and Cuff, his faithful Rosie at his side, knows it.

INTO THE FLAMES, my fifth and final ebook in The Raker Chronicles series, was released this week. Whew! Based on my 528-page hardcover TERMINAL POLICY, all five books were produced in 18 months. Overall plot:
If you thrive on intrigue, romance, gorgeous females, torture, sex, death, green chile and Irish whiskey --meet Beverly Martin Raker (although no one has called him Beverly more than once) -- in a romping tale of terror and the insurance world. After all, they both sell fear … and business is business! Lightning-paced terror, sex and romance romp from Manhattan executive offices to Haiti, Paris, Baltimore, Mexico City, Rome, New Orleans, Geneva, and London toward its cataclysmic finale. Can thrill after thrill be stopped? Is your name on a policy? Read the books!
---NOW the real test begins for all writers: how many folks will become Raker Readers? The publisher Digi-Tall Media is planning a "Don't be an April Fool" special and pricing each eBook at .99 during April. Watch for more info on www.thrillerpublications.com ... and thanks!

I.E. Henn Hi All
A good week just past : my novel 'the Delta Chain,' entered the Amazon UK Kindle/Thrillers Top 100, reaching #30 and then bouncing around #40-#80 for a few days. All good.

'The Delta Chain,' is mystery/suspense, focusing on a small-coastal-town detective's investigation of a drowning victim. The victim cannot be identified and has never been reported missing, and the mystery escalates into unchartered dangers when a pattern of similar cases is uncovered internationally.

Always great to hear from you, Paul. The move went surprising well, thanks, and it feels good to be "home" where we've spent most of our earlier lives! Had a grand 87th bday lunch here with many OLD media friends. Good luck with the Kindle resurrection of RO. As I said, my fifth and final eBook in the Raker Chronicles series was released last week. And so the publisher is dropping the price to 99 cents for each of the 5 ebooks. As you said, time will tell (and WE know about time, don't we, geezer!)Take care of UK and you, sir. Marja McGraw (marja1) | 569 comments Bogey's Ace in the Hole by Marja McGraw (me) has just been released. Right now it's available on Kindle and Nook and will soon be up in paper format. It's lighter reading with some humor. Just thought I'd mention it. :)

The only people who might strike terror in Chris and Pamela Cross’s hearts are the Church Ladies, who want them to find a missing friend. When the friend turns up on her own, Chris finds a new kind of terror—a Murder for Hire plot the woman has overheard.

Ride along in Chris’s 1950 vintage Chevy with the Church Ladies, his wife Pamela, their son Mikey, and two overzealous yellow Labrador Retrievers while they try to find not only a potential killer, but the intended victim.
